I can't imagine calvinists not having an ego believing that God choose and predestined them for heaven, that would be good for them, however its not nice for the poor bastard who's been destined from the beginning of time to go into everlasting punishment. If that were the kind of God that created the universe then he would be absolutely malevolent. I'd sooner go to hell than worship a god like that.
