Believe me Isabel. Even by living in the society, being in a life of community, it still makes me and many others feel lonely. But somehow you have got nature as your partner there. We are trying to find peace by looking at your life in the woods. We are basically living your life in our minds just by watching your videos. Thank you so much for existing.❤

I can't help but think of this psalm looking at your videos 🤍 ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭19:1‭-‬6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.

I love your videos. ❤ If you like the taste of pumpkin, you should definitely try an armenian dish that Armenians have cooking for centuries. It's called armenian Ghapama. You will find it on Youtube.

When my mom and dad were first married, they lived in a s mall cabin in the Uinta mountains. My dad worked for the forest service, and it was just the two of them and their horses. Your words are almost exactly what my mom felt as she talked about it. She loved it, but the loneliness was hard at times. Thank you for sharing such wonderful magic with us. 🙏

why you suddenly had to put black bra while making bread pudding?

The concept of being productive is something the elites worked into our psyche with the industrial revolution. It's basically wherever the elites are going, we are being encouraged to supplement their obsessions. Schools literally were not needed when ppl were more less self sufficient

Cave lamps are so cool! Just checking in to see how you are developing. Been over a year since I was here last.

You are 100% right about the small comunity importance! They still exist in some remote villages in parts of europe and I come from one myself. It is truly what we need to feel happy inside. You are an amazingly wise young human😂❤

Isabel, You should read Where the Crawdads Sing if you haven't already. I also live in the woods and I find myself hanging with nature more than people. Where the Crawdads Sing reminded me of the beauty of that and strengthened my purpose. Have a lovely winter :) First big snowstorm for us yesterday here in New England. I LOVE snow. Time for ice fishing and ice skating.

Dear Isabel, I just discovered you reasently and I have to say I’m blown away 😮 you’re such an inspiration and your vibrant energy is something, we need so much more in this world ❤ I don’t know where do you live this magical life, but it’s very similar to my aerial which is faaaaaar away from you, I guess; anyway the fauna and flora seams kind of near by and I would love to share a recipe with you :) here in Austria we grew a lot of buckwheat and there is a winter recipe, grannies cook for decades, it’s called Sterz which is kind of a tense crumble but salty! and it’s served with cannellini beans, shall we? in a cast iron pan you toast 2 cups of buckwheat flour until fragrant and set aside, warm up some butter or coconut oil and fry a bunch of minced parsley, salt to taste now you add the buckwheat flour and stir it through the oil until it gets shiny and than you add part by part 2 cubs of cold water and stir and stir and stir until it gets doughy, gooey, toasty and crispy on the outside, and set the pan aside. BEANS: in a pot heat up some butter or coconut oil and toast 4 gloves of minced garlic, add 2 cups pre cooked and rinsed cannellini beans and 1 tbsp marjoram and salt to taste and stir around until fragrant, now toss 1 cup of veggie stock and let it cook on low heat until the water is emulsified into a umami rich sauce, toss the beans over the chilled Sterz and enjoy it with your family:-) lots of ❤

When you move remotely, it seems like you loose a lot of your people. They always expect you to go to town. But they never want to come out, it is very hard; and it does feel very lonely.

The view from there is unreal! I would be in heaven on earth if I were there for a week on the mountain. It's my kind of place. I love your channel and am looking forward to trying some of the recipes from your cookbooks that I purchased last night. Merry Christmas!

Bread pudding is something my grandmother used to make, it’s so delicious. ❤ I have such found memories of my grandmother, watching her knit or crochet, her cooking, her special cookies, pies and cakes. My grandparents house was a place of love. I am so grateful for the time I was able to spend with them. Isabel, when you are feeling lonely just remember you have all of us who watch you each week, we cheer you on and think you are a pretty special human.

Oh my gosh Isabel have your wedding live..You have all of us as friends! Love you and your videos!
@aurorap.7578 Says:
You had a handful of good friendships.That's enough. Big weddings are over-rated. Also I think you should have kids after you get married. Kids give you a nearly constant interaction and they can be your best friends. The pumpkin soup looks amazing btw

What part of the world do you live?
@user-sw2ym4zq3c Says:

@alinam5092 Says:
I understand you perfectly regarding the lack of friends (and I don't even live in the middle of the forest, but in a big city, I just have a hard time talking to people). All these comments about your virtual "friends" do not take into account the human need for real connections. Yes, you have a boyfriend, but he cannot and should not be expected to satisfy all your needs for human connection, same for your family, these are different and do not replace relationships between friends. I'm reading a book right now about human relationships and conversations and it says exactly this, that the current generation has not developed empathy, is not able to create real connections, listen and communicate, precisely because of the time spent in front of devices. Virtual "friends" do not replace a hug, a deep discussion, an evening spent together, a coffee date, a trip together, a helping hand when needed...

what camera did you use for the video ? the quality it's so good
@matjol4453 Says:
Good for being dressed on your thumbnail. You are intelligent enough to know you don’t need to show your boobs coming out of your unbuttoned shirt while cooking, it doesn’t make you look smart.
@kaylinsmith9947 Says:
When I got married at 19, I invited all sorts of friends to the event. Ten years later I don't know any of them and I live in community with my husband's family. We will soon have five houses on the property, but we spend much of our time together and share meals and days together. Friends are fun, but embracing whatever community you find yourself blessed with is really beautiful.
@sarahrast7534 Says:
Isabel I feel the same way about living in smaller communities. The world has become so sad the farther we are from each other. We were made for community. This video and your words spoke to my heart, thank you for always sharing what’s on your mind🤍🎄

Thank you for all your videos. I watched them all . And you’re such a wonderful part of my day. My world is so busy but I take the time to sit back with a cup of coffee and relax and watch your videos . I love your recipes. I would give anything if I could make time for me but that’s not possible. That’s why I live through you. Thank you for being you. Don’t ever change.

Oh Isabel, I feel it too, solitary life. So few people remain friends at a distance. I love your videos. I have book full of Grandma recipes to send you from Australia 😊. I hope you can build a community around you there. Do you know about permaculture? You are describing social permaculture whrn you talk about sharing food and skills within a small local area. Thankyou for sharing your life with us.
