I try to do good by others, and I try to live by a very simple metric for morality. Take any action and ask yourself, am I being kind? Am I being respectful? Am I being just? Rape is not kind, respectful, or just and therefore would never be considered a good thing. Personally I do not need a God to tell me what is right and what is wrong, nor do I need him to "justify" why I try to live a moral life. Certain types of behavior are transcending generations to help species survive. You can see this even in ants and bees. It's only normal for humans to know what's right and what's wrong, to fight an oppressor and take care of the next generation... without holy books and without even a written language because we are animals in our instincts of survival and societal habits.
