I love the notes! He gives many definitions in both Greek and Aramaic. So far I’ve been reading the New Testament. I know you mean well, but you are not the Holy Spirit! The Bible is clear - the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and he guides us into truth and we need not a teacher for the Holy Spirit will teach us all things! People need to be taught how to be led by the spirit of God and not by men. At the end of the day, this is your opinion- but it will always only matter what the Holy Spirit has to say! It is He who gives me discernment! It is he who enlightened the eyes of my understanding, and who gives me a spirit of wisdom and revelation! Lastly, he didn’t change the Gospel- it’s the wording! The message is the exact same message as NKJV , NASB and so on! He didn’t start a new religion- again it’s words that are deeper and full of passion - hence the title name- the passion translation. The TPT makes it clear - Jesus was born of a virgin - the only begotten son - the King of Kings - the High Priest! It is because of Jesus’-work on the cross that we have His righteousness!! Faith not works! This translation did MOT change the Gospel like the Jehovah witnesses, the Mormons, and the Muslims ! Man I feel sorry for people who are listening to your message as truth! Because of the passion translation, I cannot stop reading the book of Romans. It is so beautiful. The side note structure is really overwhelming and extremely helpful. I like this Bible so much that I am currently waiting for my copy to arrive from CBD. Lord YAHWEH can use any Translation of His Word for whatever He pleases - He is GOD. To be fair everyone needs to choose for themselves what Bible Translation they use and stop all the hatred towards someone and something that you may not understand. I do not go with the flow I stand alone with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. And to add everyone refers to Galatian 1:6 - 9 as if TPT was another Gospel. Well it is not 'another' Gospel it is the Bible with all the same Books as any other Bible except the unfinished few that have to be translated (out 2029). Jehovah Witness is another gospel. Islam is another gospel. among the other 35 + thousand false religions in the world. TPT is the Bible with alll the same Books as the KJV, NIV, CSB, NASB, etc. Don't believe the hype. Don't allow yourself to be duped by a few people that want to see themselves on You Tube speaking about things they have no knowledge about. And furthermore Mr. Simmons deifies CHRIST JESUS, claims that He is the ONLY One through which salvation comes and affirms the Triune GOD as all other Bible's do - this is NOT the work of a false spirit as all other false religions denounce JESUS as being Divinity refuse the Trinity and refute that JESUS is the only Way. It's the Bible out to poetry in our modern language and thinking. It's not a Bible to use when advocating learning scripture but you can still learn about the persecution, death and resurrection of Jesus and the means of salvation through its pages. Though you may not like its origin it can still lead people to salvation. Take a many translations approach to learning scripture so you can lead others on how to interpret better.
