Jesus didn’t say the meek shall inherit the earth for nothing or when Paul said in Roman’s 8 that creation is waiting to be set free from corruption (“For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.” Romans‬ ‭8:20-21‬ ‭ESV)‬‬ Set free for what if it’s all going away or being destroyed?! That’s pointless or even for Jesus to say we’ll inherit the earth..why? if we’re leaving it and it’s being done away with?! There’s so much scripture to testify of this but just another example-“Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign forever and ever.”” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭11:15‬ ‭NRSV‬‬ Reign where?! on an earth that’ll be no more?! I’m not 100% sure his position on this but this is a common thread in modern Christianity- I just wonder based on him saying were made for another world. Yes some of your life is based on decisions but I'd say probably 50% is outside your control. For example genetics, location you were born and raised, financial inheritance, the mindsets that are instilled in you while you're young. All of those things are basically outside of your control.
