Here's the deal either you respect all the laws including ceremonial law and rest given to the Jews including of course moral laws who are part of the mosaic law. John's letters and Revelation says the same thing. Sin is transgression of the law. Eating/drinking blood is a sin and is the law given to Moses (which Adam and Eve would have been taught after the fall also, Cain and Abel also sacrificed). Abraham had faith then kept the law that was given to him. Eating the Way God intended is for your benefit, choose where you can to eat what He recommends. Jesus said that if anyone teaches to disregard the least of the commandments will be least in the Kingdom. The only law that was removed is the law of sin and death. There are laws that have changed, there is no more blood sacrifice but there is still sacrifice (believers are to sacrifice their will to His), incense is now our prayers. "Depart from Me, I never knew you; you who practice lawlessness/iniquity/sin. Look up with word for sin. The covenant/contract is still the same. If you love Him, you'll keep His commandments. Jesus said ‘I did not come here to abolished the law and the prophets but to fulfil them’. Therefore if we will follow Jesus we need to follow the law (Torah). Jesus summarise the law in to 2, but if you break it down it is still ‘the old law or mosaic law’. I am a sinner. In my opinion, Instead of me sacrificing an animal, I am putting Christ back at the cross. Which is more hurtful to me. That’s why I asked grace and do works as much as I can.
