The people that are saying the Bibles has been changed are not saying that someone rewrote it... That means that what is in the bible now was chosen by people that never knew Jesus. I'm not saying the bible is completely different now, but to act like it's not possible or not entertain the idea is dishonest... even if it's just being dishonest to yourself. But the Jerusalem council is allowed to add entire books or remove entire books... Secondly it clearly defines punishments from God in the bible specifically if you take away from the bible or add to the bible. Both of those have individual punishments. If God knew it wouldn't be changed what is the point of having the verses explain the consequences of said action. Different versions, they decided to compile the standard Quran and burn all the others. So if they burned the original and published a different version, it would have flaws. I see the same inherent problem with the Bible, especially there are so many translations out there, where words are changed or sentences shortened or extended. That's for example why you have a king James Bible now, because someone decided based on all kinds of different versions that "the standard" has to be compiled and published. And the only possibility to verify the king James accuracy would be to find an original of the new Testament that can 100 percent identified to be an original. Don't get me wrong, there are ways to reconstruct the Bible and compare the today's version with the older findings but yet it's not certain that it was unchanged. A 100 percent unchanged version is by all chance, math, psychology, linguistics etc. highly unlikely.
