The kjv version and nasb version there is almost 12 verses different . Which bible version to folow? Or which bible is reliable ?or maybe the bible isn't preserved. Thats the reality! KJV (King James Version) : Published 1611, uses formal/archaic language. NKJV (New King James Version) : Updates KJV language while keeping the same manuscript base. ESV (English Standard Version) : A "literal" translation that balances accuracy with modern English. NASB (New American Standard Bible) : Often cited as one of the most literal modern English translations. NIV (New International Version) : A popular, balanced translation. NLT (New Living Translation) : Focuses on readability and flow.

What basis you have to claim , that copies have been correctly copied from the original ? It's very simple to deconstruct this argument, you simply destroy one original and distribute fabricated copies all across the world claiming they are true copies, now you have fabrication all around the world perceived as true copies from original.

Fundamentally, I agree with your message. However, it is a little more complex, in reality. Variations between translations come about for more than one reason; the ideology of the translator which is shaped by their peers; words or phrases that don't appear in the English culture or don't make sense in the English language; the question of do you translate verbatum which lacks meaning in English or paraphrase to make meaning. My answer is to read as many versions as you can and read between the lines. None of this matters or helps unless you have the Holy Spirit to interpret for you with discernment.

Homosexual offender has been changed to homosexual. These have two different meanings, and changing the word let's rapist (who commit 'sexual offense against homosapian") off the hook and doesn't let them hear convictions. You are not telling a certain group they need to change, and you are throwing it on another oppressed group.

Sir is asking for evidence for the claim that Bible's not preserved... I am asking what evidence do you have that it has not been changed... On the other hand ... Quran has been preserved ... and it does not have the copies ... by which we can say that we have to PRESERVE THE ORIGINAL..cuz its already been preserved ... in the hearts of Muslims... Muslims dont need the comparison...

The simple FACT that Paul contradicts everything that Jesus says is proof enough. The FACT that there are bibles with different amounts of books and Later additions. And today Christians are reinterpreting the Bible with regards to rulings dealing with homosexuality as if it’s not a sin. You are in utter loss.

<<@FatBug12

If one guy has different manuscript than all other it doesn't make him a outlier. You need to prove that it was him who changed it and not all of others. And you have no original manuscript to compare to. you only have copies of copies.

<<@theePillar

The Jerusalem council changes the bible for the last time I think around 200 years after Jesus died. The people that are saying the Bibles has been changed are not saying that someone rewrote it... That means that what is in the bible now was chosen by people that never knew Jesus. I'm not saying the bible is completely different now, but to act like it's not possible or not entertain the idea is dishonest... even if it's just being dishonest to yourself. But the Jerusalem council is allowed to add entire books or remove entire books... Secondly it clearly defines punishments from God in the bible specifically if you take away from the bible or add to the bible. Both of those have individual punishments. If God knew it wouldn't be changed what is the point of having the verses explain the consequences of said action. It's a disservice to Christianity to act like these things never happened.

Mhh we have proof that this is exactly what happened with the quran. Different versions, they decided to compile the standard Quran and burn all the others. So if they burned the original and published a different version, it would have flaws. I see the same inherent problem with the Bible, especially there are so many translations out there, where words are changed or sentences shortened or extended. That's for example why you have a king James Bible now, because someone decided based on all kinds of different versions that "the standard" has to be compiled and published. And the only possibility to verify the king James accuracy would be to find an original of the new Testament that can 100 percent identified to be an original. Don't get me wrong, there are ways to reconstruct the Bible and compare the today's version with the older findings but yet it's not certain that it was unchanged. A 100 percent unchanged version is by all chance, math, psychology, linguistics etc. highly unlikely. And i say that as someone who would describe himself, as an agnostic but with clear theist tendencies.
