My mother grew up on a farm, she was the recipient of hundreds of years of knowledge about health passed to her by her mother and grandmother, and on and on. My mother said "we did not eat many vegetables. She said we did not have big gardens back then, she said we did not have time to do that. They had small gardens, a cow or two, hens in the yard that layed eggs. The cows were milked every morning and the eggs were gathered. The main diet was FATS. Look at all the keto diets helping people heal. Our brain is made out of 75% fat. So of coarse we need to eat fats, and a lot of them. We have been lied to over and over. Eggs are bad, fat is bad on and on, its crazy. The cows were not factory farmed cows, they were family cows, part of the family. The cows ate grass. The milk was churned into butter FAT These hundreds of years of experience with diet was not wrong, it kept them healthy. They did not have health problems, but they should have died from the high fat diet. I have met so many unhealthy people who eat nothing but plants. They have stomach issues( probably due to plants defense system) and they dont get enough fats that way. I changed my diet to more like my ancestors 7 years ago and now have vibrant health, it was no coincidence. I get raw milk and eggs from a farm with happy cows and happy chickens. My diet is mostly fat. I am 60 with zero health problems, I take no medications. The proof is in the pudding Just sharing my story

My parents are 89 and 90. Both have had the same diet since married at 24/25 years of age. Mediterranean diet with regional traditional meals, always cooking with olive oil with a lot of variety of food, chickpeas, beans, greens consumed as veges, soup and salad, all kind of meat and fish, even ham salami and sausages, always 1 glass of red wine with lunch and dinner and a cup of coffee after lunch. Morning always coffee or tea and a couple of toasts. My mum also has the habit to snack quite a bit with fruits, cheese and nuts. My mum is very healthy in no medication whatsoever, very active for her age, able to walk fast and even run while dad started having health issues around 55 years old: blood pressure, calcium deposit in artery, heart disease, diabetes, prostate cancer. It progressed slowly from mild to serious. With medical progress it is amazing he has made it to today but also the fact he had a physical demanding work and has always kept active. He is on lot of medications, he is diabetic type 1 and was type 2 before: it started when he stopped smoking. He has stents, pacemaker. Had a stroke at 70 years of age where half his body was paralyzed because of fatty deposit in carotid artery that cut blood supply to his brain. He recovered fully and was put on blood thinners. He was diagnosed also with prostate cancer controlled with medication no surgery. So what is the difference? He smoked. Not a heavy smoker although he was a heavy smoker as a teenager from 14 years old to 25 then went to half a packet a day. He loved his cigar on Sundays afternoon. He had also a hard life as a kid, grew up in an orphanage where he knew hunger while mum had a nice childhood where she never lacked anything. Mum is very active, still is, while my father had stopped any physical activity since the last 5 years and just go a short walk. Yes he has made it to 90 but last 35 years haven't been with good quality of life with medical appointments, surgeries and ton of medications. My mum has had a better life for sure but she has had to take care of him. My older brother and I are healthy. My other brother, who died of a heart attack at 43, was a heavy smoker and drank wine and stronger alcohol in the weekends partying with his friends. He didn't eat healthy. His partner was a lazy cook and bought many time cooked meals from the supermarket. He smoked also cannabis nearly every day. The message here: if you want healthy adults it starts with healthy children. Educate your children how to be healthy, have healthy mothers carrying their babies. Don't smoke at all and don't drink alcohol and if you must with moderation.

1:23:33 When I did 3 day fast for the first time it did really cured skin, reflux and brainfog problem completely but yes this man is right I'm surpriced that nobody who promote prolong fasting tells you that. It's not for everybody guys. The second attemp after couple years one time I've got cardiovascular problems and the second time mild psychosis which was really weird experience but somehow managed by myself. No more prolong fasting but one day is ok😅

Absolutely brilliant! Thank you Dr. Bland! Our western medical system is so broken, we need to look to the “wisdom of nature “ as Dr. Bland said. The problem? Obviously Big Pharma , Big Food, and the stranglehold it has on our society. When will the powers that be wake up? It’s all about the bottom line, money and power. Hi Tom I'm a big fan of rejuvenating your immune system and antiaging.... I'm from so I dont know if I can get that Himalayan weed that you guys taljed about...but how about taking Moringa seeds daily which áre amazingly rich in minerals vitamins and amino acids....will it do the job too?Let you know that moringa is a rough plant which like to grow on hot arid lands such as deserts.
