Joerg do you know if this will be in regular production at some point? I know you said it won’t but maybe you changed your mind? I love this design! I would really enjoy using it at work but I couldn’t if I know it’s a collectors piece.

Joerg, won´t you think about a distal taper at Pocketchette? It could be advantageous.

The weapon law doesn't sound particularly unreasonable. Typically smaller weapons fall under stricter laws because they are easier to hide. For example in Ukraine it is legal to own an AK(for hunting of course) but not a pistol. Pistols are considered more dangerous than rifles because they are easier to hide.

It's way over priced for the materials. For less than $250 I can buy a tops machete in 1095 steel which is way better in a machete than d2. Plus d2 is so over used that it's value probably will never come out of the budget knife section even though brands and designers keep trying to market it on knives that are priced as if they have premium steel. Don't get me wrong d2 is a good steel but not the right steel for machetes and it's a pain in the ass to sharpen due to being a tool steel with a high HRC of 62-64

Once again, you have exceeded excellence. If that protruding piece could instead be a hand and knuckle guard when folded in, or at least be an option, it’s fighting function would become a military staple. I carry a Kabar because thats what we trained with and mine is almost sixty years old. I do have your awesome repeating crossbow though, and that is a very useful tool for hunting small game. The forward lower handle broke off though, to much torque on that piece to be useful. I may have to invest in one of these. Maybe put it in the survival stash. That stuff is all waiting to become collectors items. Thanks again sir. You are a inspiration

As a Texan: 1. It's so good to see folks like Joerg from time to time to remind us that all Germans aren't like what we generally hear about these days who seem to love big government bureaucracy. I know what it's like for your country to be seen a certain way overseas that doesn't always match reality. It's important for "normal" people to give representation. Thanks for the English videos. 2. It reminds me how good it is to be a Texan! I can walk down the street with a visible gun on one hip and a full sword on the other if I wanted to. Of course I don't, because that would be silly, but I could. Concealed carry is much safer and more practical.

Interesting design but I just don't get the grind. Its such a wide blade but has a scandi type grind with a secondary bevel. If it had a saber or a full flat grind it would weigh less and cut much better.
