Just turned 50. Wish I had something like this to listen to when I was younger. Tom you are so easy to relate to. All your guest are just so unbelievable. I've learned so much about myself in such a short time. What I've learned is it important to surround yourself by like minded people. Thank you Tom 😊 have to catch up on some of your interviews.

To comment on the hardship section. What's wrong with that? What's wrong with struggling, what's wrong with pain and death? People can be so fearful of it but it's good. People are scared to talk about death but it's just part of the package. Be ok with it. Don't stop living because you might get hurt. Start living because you know you will die. Tom, not to tell you what to do but to challenge you. I really hope you can be courageous enough to have kids someday or to be a father in some aspect. Peoples find ways to be a father or mother in untraditional ways. Challenging and makes you grow in ways nothing else will. It's so fulfilling, society needs it. It's part of finding your place. Imagine dying without fulfilling that roll. Change your frame of reference. You would make a great father, a great leader/ teacher. And know your kids can handle it. They will work, they will grow and yeah suffer. It's ok to suffer.

This is really one of the best interviews ever. I was still shocked thinking the best part was his father's skills but the end on how he worked on his marriage, the humility to forgive her and to move on in order to build something stronger. Amazing man.

<<@BnPac1
says :
I think another way to title this video would be :"how to be to be a great parent" or "how to instill the sense of hardship and fulfillment in your kids" or "how to raise great responsible and fulfilled human beings"? Very enlightening. I would be sure to get back to this when I become a mother. One of the best interviews on this channel but they are all great tbh.

Absolutely thought provoking, engaging, heartfelt dialogue, so many messages to parents, to partners, on marriage, on the important of hard work n going through hardships. Will definitely follow Anthony see where he takes his life with his children and his great partnerships. Powerful to observe him forgive his wife and accept his role in the breakdown of his relationship and going on to find freedom in their marriage and equality where both embarked on doing what makes them happy individually and collectively.

I've used these vids for chatter in the background for company, but this is the one that clicked. I think it was the sentence Anthony said, "If I do nothing, nothing gets better." So I'm not gonna quit, stay in the process.

Why did ancient Rome stop all those orgies, you may ask? .... Jesus Christ would be my guess. In that day unwanted newborns would be taken into the woods out of earshot and abandoned, but the Christians went there, picked up the babies and took them into their families, adopted.

13:26 is false. Close to one-fifth of the prison population in the US is comprised of former foster children. This is bad, but it is not 75%, as Mr. Trucks states. Perhaps he stated it backwards... 75% of those in foster care will be in prison at some point?

I'm refusing to continue with my business until I lose the wt.... trouble is its been 18 months and I'm still overwt and still not showing up for myself. Hence why I'm listening to your shows. Thankyou

When it comes to identity, is it an individual's choice to decide what kind of person they want to be? Does a person have the right to reject the idea of someone else trying to tell them how or who to be like? Isn't each person allowed to own and operate their own life the way they choose, without being made to live up to the standards of the people who came before them?

He gives great advice up until the story of getting back with his ex-wife who refused to apologize for having an affair ? I’m sure he did it for the kids but my god bro have some self respect. You can co-parent and be cordial for the children’s sake without taking her back lol. She doesn’t even let him teach certain values into the kids, so she’s still difficult, he said it himself. Of course she wants to try it again, the guy she had an affair with kicked her to the curb. I honestly think he needs to look in the mirror and face the fact that he’s just scared to be alone and didn’t want to lose his kids.

Please do an interview or a video interviewing people that have totally changed or turn their lives around from 60 and up. How do we face our challenges and make the changes we need for these times at our age health and physical conditions. It's a whole different scenario starting over at 60 than it is at 30. That would be greatly appreciated

I gave birth to 6 kids in 10 years, planned, w one man/husband. They started receiving an allowance for chores done at age 3. At age 4 they became responsible for paying for paying their library fines and for their library card. Each year the responsibilities & rewards increased. Recently my oldest (34yo) forgave me for (shrug) because we were sooo poor. I had to tell her. We weren’t poor. I was making it hard on them to the limit they could bear, to make them strong.

35:14 laughing at how relatable tom's story is. Looking back, the things my mum let me do make me wonder. She let me cook by myself. I was frying, baking and climbing on surfaces to reach the stove and freezer. There was a particular time i was obsessed with wiring 2 pin electric plugs into 3 pins just because i saw her do it once. All that dangerous stuff didn't seem to bother her, she only stopped me when i began cutting up most of my clothes to try pinterest hacks 😄
