What do you think it means when a company 'goes public?' The misunderstanding is more of a colloquialism. When we refer to a corporation as a private company we just mean they aren't 'technically' owned by the government, but they are a public entity. This understanding has changed how I look at politics. When a Leftist says they don't trust corporations that is all well and good, I just find it funny when they think the government is more trustworthy. No the corporation is beholden to it's investors which are part of the public, public elite maybe but the public all the same. The government is too, and yet again in the same way beholden to the public but more so the public elite. I think Shoe is basically just a (based) Classic Liberal. Member when being Liberal meant you believed in Liberties? I don't. It's always been this weird commie infused perversion of 'Liberal.' She's a lib from back when being a lib meant you threw the gd tea in the gd ocean for being taxed. Not really more like a J.D Salinger Liberal when the factories were working people to death and there were OSEA violations everywhere but no OSEA. Yes it's O.K for the government to make sure businesses aren't poisoning people or the environment or behaving badly. Self-policing only goes so far. On the other hand government red tape can be 'problematic' to say the least, stymying economic growth and being oppressive. I love how Shoe has 2.3m subs now. Like don't underestimate this woman. She like kind of a big deal now fr and she still gets videos with more view than subs, which means her channel is still growing after all this time. Her vids are getting all these views even with the V-tubers potentially siphoning some of them off. Her being popular with the V-tubers means more exposure and subs. Long term growth short term loss on views. People are taking note. People are saying woke is dead, maybe the based Liberal is coming back? Probably not there's a lot of brain rot out there, but MAYBE some healthy thriving brains too!
