For autonomous driving to work, it must work for the stupidest and most careless among us, like when some drunk teenager passes out on Muholland Drive. The hyperbole in the space is unrelenting. Stop putting the cart before the horse. How about making a simple, reliable, electric car for the masses with 400 miles of range and a 20 minute 0 - 100% recharge time?
