It is a confusing part of history, but I do believe the far right slogan has put ppl off from seeing what it actually was. AH was a socialist, but rejected marxism on the basis that it was ran by the Jews (obviously a stupid argument) and then tried to distance himself by creating his own socialist part (national socialist party) which only differentiates itself from marxism in that it includes individuality (on the basis of race).
