Pretty sure it was the horse used by a builder who the aesir hired to build a wall round Asgard, and Loki in horse form lured the horse off so he wouldn’t finish in time and thus they wouldn’t have to pay his harsh price. The fact Elden Ring won GOTY over this is so puzzling to me and I’ve beaten that game 3 times. I cried like a baby at the end of this game, never before has any piece of media ever made me feel the way this story did. A truly epic conclusion to an epic series. Pacing was awful, combat is decent but its weighed down by pretty bad encounter design, enemy variety only marginally better than the first game, wildly inconsistent tone compared to the first game and the story in general was just so meandering and dull, even Ragnarok itself was uninteresting to play through.
