The original Hebrew of the T'Na'Kh didnt have any vowels, punctuation or diacritical marks. So, Gen 1 would have read EXACTLY like this: BRSTBRLHMTHSSMYMWTHRS How does that come to us in english to read "In the beginning God created Heaven and Earth." But wait. Didnt the original say Elohim in hebrew, once they developed the diacritics? Wait. Isnt Elohim plural. Wait. How do we get God out of Elohim? Wait. Didnt Jesus speak Aramaic? Wait. The septuagint was in Latin, the Pentateuch was Roman. Wait. I read this in KJV and this other in NIV and this other in CEV. Wait. Do you even know what youre saying? How do you read a book WITHOUT interpretting it??? "Dont interpret the words in the text? Ask what they mean in the text?" Dont be so silly, you silly goose.

Some people will say that's just your interpretation as a way of rejecting truth altogether. As if to say there's no way to know. Basically they don't want to know the truth and follow it.

I don't interpret the Bible. The Bible interprets me. If I am doing it right I will have the results it tells me I should have. If you are not seeing what's in the book, you're doing it wrong. This is how it interprets YOU. See the fruit? Then you are right. No Biblical fruit? Doing it wrong. No healings, miracles, revelations, interaction with God Himself, nations changed, revival following you? Bingo, you have been interpreted. No power? Only arguments? Doubts? Anger at those who have and live in the power daily? Boom. You've just found yourself.

Yes! ❤ Wisdom is God’s. This is why he says not to take of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Finite beings of understanding born in ignorance, must follow what is true to receive the truth. And if you desire the truth, (Matthew 6:33) “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Not only will your desire for truth be found, but your other desires will be found within the truth. Jesus says in John 14:6 “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Love Y’all and God Bless You! ❤

The question is : IS PERSPECTIVE EVERYTHING? Context...how do we frame something like the word of God? If God said or did something different.. would you tell him to get back in that box .? God can do whatever he wants .he has no limits.. Did you know there was books that didn't make it into the bible..cause of context . why?! Who decides what goes into the bible and why? Is it God or man? Why can't we add or take away from the Bible .? Who says the God is done with his people, done talking to us. ? Done preforming miracles, teaching lessons. ?

Its a assertion and I would also look if their is a bias agenda behind the Assertion in this case , then the argument would change to you have to be wrong because I am wright and it relies on you being incorrect, truth relies on truth and not something elce needed to be wrong to validate it

Rather than reading our cultural context into the text, it should be about learning the cultural context and the way the author's meant things to come across. Cuz there's one interpretation of the Bible just because there's a million and one possible ways to interpret the text does not mean that there's not a standard that should be adhered to.

Nobody ever said "you must be wrong, for humans are fallible": the man addresses a question that was never posed. What Christians say about those who compose their own gospel and truth is that man may be wrong and therefore man's opinion regarding the meaning of the texts has no meaning, especially in light of so many individuals who present yet another meaning of the text and another version or variant on the one Gospel and Revelation. Also, orthodox Christianity is Catholicism, which is in many respects contrary and alien to any man-made gospel: the Gospel as announced by the early Church is fundamentally different from any man-made gospel today, including the one composed by this man. The Message that Jesus brought us is for us to accept: not to compose our own. The one Gospel is meant for all men: not for all men to have their own gospel. We accept the Gospel from the Church: to compose our own gospel is the very definition of heresy and man-made gospels and leads to nothing - nothing eternal. Finally, to say that "that is just your interpretation of the text" is self-refuting is nonsense: in case we refuse the rules of logic and that 2 + 2 equals 4, we can shut down all discussion for all time. Fact is that so many men come up with so many different gospels - different personal interpretations - and to claim that yours is the correct one is mere human pride - again especially in light of the existence of so many more different man-made interpretations and gospels. I would like to pose this man the following question: do you admit to the possibility that your understanding of Scripture - regarding justification, baptism, Eucharist, etc - is FALSE? Yes or no?

ALL forms of Christianity, with the exception of Christian Mysticism, are fatally flawed. Christianity is a false worldview, same as all Abrahamic religions. I'm not an atheist, but a nondualist. Orthodox Christianity is NOT true. Nondual Hinduism (Advaita Vedantin philosophy) is most likely true, however. Due to REASON based ideas, not intellectually stunting religious dogma (as found in Christianity).

The Bible is a testament of Christ, despite its flaws from multiple interpretations over the centuries. That said, it's also the reason why there are so many Christian churches today, as they all claim to interpret the Bible correctly, and everyone else is wrong. Sadly, this leads to division among those who otherwise follow Christ, and call others being wrong. This is why Peter said in 1 Peter 1:20 that no scripture is of private interpretation, requiring a Prophet called of God to clarify the scriptures and give new revelations. Since the apostasy of the original church of Christ, with all the apostle killed, this lead to the many churches today divided among themselves, relying on each one's human interpretation.

There's a big difference between translation, and interpretation. John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son for whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. There's no other way to interpret that then what it says. That reads the same in any language. That does not need to be interpreted, it says what it says

<<@randychurchill201

This is a perfect example of how Protestantism can't answer the dilemma of epistemic certainty. The bigger question for the Protestant is the doctrine of Noetic effects from the fall. The Protestant doctrine of Noetic effects says that because Adam fell in the garden all men are under the noetic effects of sin. The Noetic effects are the mental effects of sin. The Noetic effect is why the Protestant Reformers rejected the infallibility of the Pope. No man is infallible because all men are under the Noetic effects of sin. For this reason, you can never be sure that your interpretation of the Bible is correct. The Protestant doctrine of Noetic effects applies to the believer as well. Even after regeneration and saving faith you are still under the mental effects from sin. Even your pastor who is interpreting the Bible is under the Noetic effects of sin. The Protestant does not realize that his own system destroys the possibility of epistemic certainty. The best that a Protestant can hope for is that he is getting it right most of the time. But you still have no way of knowing if your perceptions are true or false. This is why so many Protestants suffer mentally over assurance of salvation. This is especially true for Reformed Calvinists. On top of this problem, you have the problem of sola scriptura and sola fide. Sola fide was invented because the Reformers rejected the Roman Catholic doctrine of "Analogia Entis" and replaced it with the "Analogia Fide" The analogy of faith or Sola fide, Faith Alone. Where are the analogies found? In the Bible alone. Sola Scriptura. Regarding how we know God, Both the Protestant and Catholic position are based on knowing God by analogy. That means that your theology has no way of showing how you have any contact with God. You can only know God by analogy. I could write much more but Protestants don't understand how problematic their belief system is. Protestants have no way of solving these problems with their false system. Western Christianity is bankrupt. I think you would be more likely to find God if you were an atheist.

Frank is right. It is not how I interpret the verse/Bible. So, honestly tell where the Bible says we can do whatever Sabbath we want, can work or cause others to work on the Sabbath, and eat whatever we want. Yes, if we could all be of One Mind One accord, One Body, these interpretation battles, these hundreds of denominations and religious dogmas would vanish. Then we would see The one Truth, The one Way, and The one Light.

There is One scientifically proven God. The Bible has about 2,000 prophecies 1,600 have been fulfilled already. Prophecies including who, where, how, why and WHEN. The WHEN is valid proof of the true authorship of scripture. As many prophecies give timelines. Those prophecies are known to predate the fulfillment by centuries. And they're fulfilled TO THE YEAR they were foretold to happen. If there is a God that gives men knowledge of our future, then that, and ONLY that God, necessarily exists.
