The bible was written by men over 100 years after the death of jesus and the new testament was nearly a thousand years after his death. The bible has multiple authors and they all never met jesus, never knew jesus, never ate with jesus and never even knew a friend of jesus. Jesus never claimed to be God or the son of God until the writers of the bible said he did centuries after he left this earth. Instructions for the man or women of God on how to live a righteous life, a joyous life, while escaping the corruption of this world. You haven't read if truly for yourself, like many others, you listen to what others say and base your judgement on that. You have to read it for yourself. We will all be held accountable for seeking God on our own.
