The problem with this video is that it does not understand natural selection. Natural selection is not a law, we as humans might call it a law, but it is not an actual law, all it is is pressure, that would be the result of trying to survive and reproduce within an environment and competing with other life forms for food, space and mates. That is all it is, but over millions of years that pressure will result in creatures that are more successful at existing within that environment, even if it changes, and all the creatures in that environment will be subjected to those pressures, so it will be a constant struggle to survive, and that pressure drives evolution and produces more and more strategies to promote survival, and leads to us, and all the animals on earth, and that pressure is still with us today. Only human intelligence may be able to circumvent that pressure, and to replace it as the driving force. We maybe able to maintain a status quo, or control our own evolution. But if you offered me a computer that had evolved, i would say yes please, because that computer would most probably be better than any we have so far designed, and would probably be conscious as well, as that is what evolution can do, and did with us.

it's as if turek wants to do philosophy but without ever engaging the philosophical dialectic. start with fodor, for instance, when you presuppose that everything in a physicalist world is reducible to physics. if a probabilistic system can exist in a deterministic world, then it's possible to have outcomes which 1) have antecedent, causal conditions but 2) the outcomes can't be traced back to a specific physical law while, 3) still being governed by physicalist laws. so the question of how a person can have a conversation if that state of affairs isn't reducible to physical laws is far too naīve. rush hour traffic isn't reducible to physical laws, it's an emergent property of highway goings-on and explainable in other terms, all of which are still entirely physicalist explanations.

I like Frank, but this is just the same dumb argument that's been around for decades and literally has a name: God of the gaps. "I don't understand how this works, so it must be god". If Frank didn't know how rain came to be he would attribute it to god as well. It's the weakest argument for religion ever and it's an unfalsifiable which is why it's so popular as a gotcha. "oh, you can't explain to me exactly how this super complex this works? Guess god is real after all!" Christianity in specific really shows man's fear of the unknown. They NEED an explanation so badly they'll take an omnipotent being in the sky to explain it if they have to. God forbid (pun intended) that there be questions we just haven't found an answer to yet.

Even if that God exist, the problem can never be solved. It's beyond obvious that God is a narcissist, admitting no blame, guilt or responsibility. While everything that ever happened is his will, he himself put everything in motion. The fate, actions, situations and qualities of every created being is a consequence of what God caused, which will keep resonating, forever. So, when God accuses the created of wrongdoings, he accuses himself, something that the narcissistic God deflects immediately. The attempt to blame Lucifer for causing consequences, is exactly what to expect from the narcissist God. Even if Lucifer exist and set something in motion, it's still not the fault of the created being Lucifer. The only solution to the Gordic knot, is for that God to publicly admit this, and apologize to every soul that ever existed. Not something a narcissist would ever do. Pride and narcissism means God is stuck in his own hell. Hence the paradox is insoluble & eternal āIf you think you know everything, youāll never learn anything,ā

"Mind exist!" Mind is not a thing per-se - it's a phenomenon that arises from biological processes in a brain - an actual material thing. As your brain goes so does your "mind." Does Turek have any examples of disembodied mind/s? I did not think so! More evidence that your disembodied, timeless, space-less, immaterial, being does not exist - can't exist. Nature is wonderful and awe inspiring without your UN-evidenced being. You have no explanatory power with such bald assertions of mere 'concepts.' Last I checked it's you guys who have creatio ex nihilo not us. How did that happen? How did a disembodied, timeless, space-less, immaterial, being who was the only thing in existence speak into nothing and out came everything which is wholly ontologically different than itself? Your mind creates your physical brain from biological components your body spits out, 'What fires together wires together,' that's brain-science 101. Question is, what is the mind? Where does it really exist? That hallucinatory image you see when you open your eyes and look at the world around you, where is the picture? It is not in your brain, the information of that image is rushing around your physical brain, but where is the picture? You experience that picture of the world as being outside of your physical body, but it's not there either, so where is it? It's in your mind, but where is your mind?

How to get saved and be right with God who loves us, for eternal life! As anyone can get saved, if they make the choice to do so. 1.Realize that all of mankind have sinned before God in one way or another. Romans 3: 10-12+23 (KJB) 10. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" 11."There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." 12."They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." 23. āFor all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.ā 2.Realize that God loved us enough to allow Jesus to pay the price for our sins, by his blood shed on the cross, as a free gift given to us as sinners. Romans 5: 8-9+12 (KJB) 8. āBut God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 9."Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." 12. āWherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all that have sinned:ā 3.Confess unto God to accept this freely given gift of forgiveness, that forgives all sins. Romans 10: 9-10+13 (KJB) 9. āThat if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.ā 10."For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." 13."For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Hebrews 9: 27-28 (KJB) 27."And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" 28."So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.ā Revelation 21: 8 (KJB) "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.ā Romans 6: 23 (KJB) āFor the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.ā Lastly, here is an example of what to pray to God to get saved and forgiven of your sins. āDear God, I am a sinner and need saving. I know Iām not good enough to get to heaven and I need you to save me. I need the righteousness of your son, Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus is the Lord, who died, was buried and resurrected so that his precious blood can wash away my sins. I trust in him alone to save me. Nothing else. Not my good works or anything else. Only Jesus. I pray this in Jesusā name, Amen.ā
