Where are any of the characters that have been established in previous games? Even the environmental design doesn't have anything you could pinpoint from established DK lore. I had it on the wii but it was so memorable that i played it at least 3 times through and had a blast. My only criticism was that the bosses were just harder versions of the same 3 villans.
