When you read Revelation, Zechariah, Daniel, Matthew, Zephaniah, etc, you see that the theme that leads up to Jesus's return is war. Rev 19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Verses 11-16 People always say to me Christians have been saying Jesus is coming any day for 2000 years. This is not true since we have ample 2nd and 3rd century documents that show early Christians after 135AD when the Jews were driven from Israel by the Romans didn't believe Jesus was coming soon. Why?
