*I CORINTHIANS 15:3-4 KJV* For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins *according to the scriptures;* And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day *according to the scriptures:* I'm gonna have to disagree with Frank on this one. The "according to the Scriptures" Paul is talking about here is most likely NOT the New Testament... Also, the Ethiopian eunuch in ACTS 8 believed because Phillip showed him ISAIAH.

I like hearing various explanations like this, and comparing them with arguments made by supposedly non-religious Secular Sources about how despite issues with the origins of Life/universe/existence... They trust that Secular biases are still True even when they compare those issues with the Historical evidence that the Bible is true. Am I saying that understandably?: Well.... Simply put, if you're honestly examining Christianity/Messianic Judaism as based upon the Bible?? I think that belief in Atheism _(disbelief in Christianity)_ is based largely upon the existence of a Secular possiblity, which appears to have similarities in quality of evidence, maybe parity at best. At the very least, studying the Bible needs to return to the modern Education system. Because ignorance of the Bible & related Facts, seems to be the largest secular reason why Atheism has become more popular in the scientific community. Not anything specific that Atheism seems to offer as the alternative. Apologies for the ramblings... Recently heard claims from Atheists, about Atheism, made me realize that there are similarities between Cultists masquerading as Christians, and Atheists arguments surrounding Atheism.

So to answer the question of this video, Did Christianity start with the New Testament, I would say no. Technically Christianity started way back in the garden of Eden, since that primeval myth provides the whole basis of why Jesus had to come. If that story is false, then Jesus was superfluous I would say. And so we are told that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was in the center of the garden, where it would have been in full view of not only Adam and Eve, but animals as well. Any animal that could have reached the forbidden fruit would have probably eaten it. And so if a squirrel had eaten the fruit, would it have gained the knowledge of good and evil and brought about the fall of man? I mean.. you kind of end up drawing absurd conclusions from that mythical narrative..

I like Frank Turek, and I even appreciate him talking with me a few times on the phone…but I completely disagree with inerrancy. I believe that all ancient texts are subject to the same difficulties that historians must carefully navigate through, and that the Biblical texts having the same degrees of difficulties that all ancient texts have is simply a testament how they ALSO ARE valid historical documents just like the rest of historical documents.

So you believe the bible is without flaw because a guy claimed that he would come back from the dead and purportedly did. Nevermind that you have no evidence as to the veracity of the claims that he existed. Nevermind not having proof he said that. Nevermind not having proof he did it. So, your conclusion is assumed because your premise is, yet, you're a doctor.

Here's scientific fact. One of several. If the sun is darkened then so are the other constellations including the moon. The original scientists studied natural things to know how God's creation worked. Isa.13 [10] For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

The minute anyone needs an apologetic to argue for your particular deity is the minute that they should realise that their god has not provided good and sufficient evidence for its existence. If your chosen god really loves you and really wants you to know it and have that relationship with it, then provides nothing other than an old book that says a thing is totally insufficient. Prayers clearly work at the rate of blind chance, i.e. they don't. People are not magically healed and this is clear from the actual real medical evidence. The only real thing that religions do is to provide communities of like-minded similarly indoctrinated. These are the people that use apologetics as a 'prop' to hold up their shaky supernatural worldviews.

*If you have ears, hear* Religion is fake....Yeshua is Yahweh, and Yahweh is the 10 commandments: and the laws is the Jew's eternal King or God. So it was Yahweh (the laws) whom became flesh to make himself an example for the Jews as he had promised them; and he was called Yeshua. So Obey the 10 commandments and Apply love to your lifestyle; exit religion, for the very first laws is to have no other gods before him, and it is written that no man can serve two masters; Sell your unnecessary possessions and help the fatherless, the widows, the poor, etc. *Again* Love yourself and your fellow brothers and sisters; if you have an extra t-shirt, give it to him that have none; likewise if you have 2 pair of shoes, give one pair to him that have none.....*and no vaccine* ...again, If you have ears, hear..

The early christians believed the resurrection first of all because many of them witnessed it. Then, the ones who witnessed it proclaimed it to others and they believed. Then, in Acts 2 the Holy Spirit came upon them as Christ had promised to show them God had not forsaken them. That they were indeed his children.

I understand that God permits suffering and bad things to happen to us, but what I don't understand and what keeps me doubting God, is that despite me crying out and praying to Jesus in absolute agony and distress every day and night for literally like 6 years (since being SA by an evil disgusting being), I don't feel any relief or inner peace. God promises peace to those who cry out to him like it says in Phillipians 4: 6,7. But in my case, no peace from God comes over me, I'm still in a state of anxiety and suicidal depression, even minutes after every prayer. The first couple of minutes I think I just feel some relief from letting all the tears out, but then back to anxiety and trauma moments later after praying so intensly to Jesus for relief. This is the biggest road block stopping me from completely believing God is there, or that if He is, He obviously does NOT care about me and has abondoned me to my thoughts of despair and wanting to die. This I don't understand.

Parallels of Jesus in the Old Testament vs the NT Video title Jesus Christ in the Torah (The Books of Moses) by 1nemind also the The Pagan Origins of Christianity by manyprophetsonemessage are interesting videos and necessary too watch too understand my comment better the main points in the Muslim one are the idea for eucharist came from Egypt and in Acts the people took Paul too be a God man and the point is made that they heard the message and corrupted it turning Jesus into a God as well as Gods resurrecting in ancient times the only thing that’s not the same is Jesus coming from a virgin Jesus also appears in the Vedas the story is in the Vedas he is from a virgin and is called the son of God …. if it’s true and the video I sighted is false , it really does seem Muslims are wrong because of the Parallels but is it possible the NT books were written by pagans Greeks like the Muslims say that had the Old Testament too go off on?

"That he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" - 1 Corinthians 15:4 Dr. Turek is conflating things here in order to hold the event of the resurrection above the standard of scripture because it fits better into his philosophical presupposition.
