There are many things in a bear liver: mostly toxins. A liver is a filter. Also, bears are unclean animals according to biblical eating rules for the Israelites. Why does it keep giving good cod liver oil vitamin A a bad name, as an example of a good source? I have taken a lot of cod liver oil with no side effects. I have heard that synthetic vitamin A caused bad side effects. Vitamin A should be from a clean food source. But bear liver? It has many ingredients, not just vit A. Don’t eat bears. She was not a junk eater and loved her salads and raided on a farm with best of foods! WHY did she get Alzheimer’s and live sooo many yrs with it ?
