Not that it probably matters, but I thought that was maybe why the first one bent, and why the rope compressed it to get over instead of through the piece? Edit: I don't know if I explained it very well. But what I'm saying, is; a crossbow would pull a rope at a MUTCH wider angle (possibly also lower?) therefore presumably _not_ compress the piece. Or jump over. Double edit: Don't you have a piece of plexiglass you could stand behind?
