An animal with a lion’s head, elephant’s body, and cow’s legs. 2. The number “zero” as absolute nothingness. 3. The idea of “tomorrow.” --- *Lemma 2: God’s attributes apply only to what is real, not to what is unreal or illogical.* Omnipotence does not include doing contradictions, and omniscience does not include “knowing” non-existent things. *Examples:* 1. God cannot place someone “outside” His kingdom if His kingdom is everything. 2. A parent is not ignorant for not knowing an imaginary child. --- *Lemma 3: The future, as a fully completed and fixed entity, does not exist in reality.* Only the present moment exists. The future is a projection based on patterns, not an already-created reality. *Examples:* 1. “Tomorrow” never arrives as tomorrow—it always arrives as the present moment. 2. A predicted event (like rain next week) may or may not occur; it is not yet real. --- *Lemma 4: Knowledge of outcomes based on present conditions is not the same as knowledge of a fixed, unavoidable destiny.* *Examples:* 1. We know a dropped stone will fall due to gravity, but we do not know its exact position one year later. 2. We may predict that an addict will relapse, but this is not absolute certainty—it remains changeable. 3. The Qur’anic example of Rum: their future victory was foretold based on real conditions—such as their resilience, resources, and circumstances—not because a fully fixed future already existed. --- *Theorem: The idea that God knows a fixed, absolute future where individuals are already destined for heaven or hell is based on a mental construct, not reality.* *Proof (informal):* From Lemma 1, imagined constructs (like a fully completed future) may not be real. From Lemma 3, the “absolute future” does not exist as a real entity. From Lemma 2, God’s knowledge does not apply to non-existent things. Therefore, God does not “know” a fixed, completed future in the way assumed in the question. From Lemma 4, what can be known are outcomes based on present realities—not an unchangeable destiny. If such a fixed future did exist, it would imply that individuals cannot act otherwise, making creation seem pointless and unmerciful. Since this leads to contradiction, the assumption must be false. --- *Conclusion:* God’s knowledge is perfect, but it applies to reality as it exists and unfolds—not to an imagined, fixed future. Therefore, creation is neither pointless nor unmerciful.>> <<@cynciall says : Why would you create a person at all if you know they will end up suffering eternally? He created the beings, he allowed the possibility of sin to exist as a concept, and he created the punishment. So it is still just as cruel to knowingly allow such an inevitably horrible system even if you say he didn't "cause" their rebellion. If any human being concocted a similar concept of creating beings they know will end up tormented forever, you'd call it cruel, not holy. Causation is irrelevant here. Once you know the horrible, inevitable outcome and still allow, then that is still abhorrent and morally grotesque.>> <<@ronaldpilime8851 says : So why create at all? Gen. 32:7-14 When Moses was on the mountain and the people were sinning down below God said he was going to kill all the people and start a new nation through Moses. Moses prayed and God CHANGED HIS MIND and spared the people (especially verse 14 where "God Repented of the evil which He thought to do to His people) Did God know he was going to change His mind and not kill the people before Moses prayed ? If God knew he was going to change His mind and NOT kill the people then God lied to Moses when He said He was going to kill the people. Is God a liar? In Gen 6:5-6 God saw that man had become so evil that He was SORRY ( KJV says God repented ) that he made man. How can you be sorry for doing something if you already knew it would happen There are other places where God made a promise and then later took it back because of sin of the nation. You say "What about all the places where God told what was going to happen in the future"? Example: In Isaiah 46:10 it says "Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done ? Once you read the next verse after that it all becomes clear that God can tell us about the future because HE WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN. It says ""I have spoken it, I will bring it to pass" ( in the ASV it says "What I have said that I will bring it about. What I have planned, that will I do" ) It is so simple to me. God can pronounce what will happen in the future because He will MAKE IT HAPPEN. That is why many times in the New Testament it says " He did this to fulfill what was written".>> <<@lambofgod6314 says : HE SPEAKS OF THE DEMIURGE, THE FALSE GOD OF THE BIBLE.
