<<@christopherrodway8714 says : I love the sweater btw!>> <<@nutzeeer says : why not do a retro review to see how devices held up after this time?>> <<@HJRextheBionicleMan says : How do you get it in the US?>> <<@solarpuls-e says : The fact that that faiphone's initiative motivated you to from now include repairability and sustainability says a lot about their mission. very nice comprehensive review, thanks.>> <<@La_Brata-g7q says : I say no to the right to repair.>> <<@La_Brata-g7q says : Not interested in these types of Phones anyway. It causes a lot more chaos than any other feature phone.>> <<@_teddy0008 says : so now you could just buy a spare battery and usb c port and have another charged battery incase your battery runs out?>> <<@WillemB-h9n says : Despite not being an iPhone, Samsung or pixel it tries to sustain a personality that’s not perfect but can be a reference to other smartphones. This phone reminisces a time where phones could be swapped by a new battery while still maintaining a more modern aesthetic feel to it.>> <<@SwaggaMuffin says : This is dumb. No one else makes parts for this phone, sure you can upgrade it but if fairphone go under what you gonna do.>> <<@happyhamsters6459 says : I would seriously buy it if it had a headphone jack, but other than that it looks a brilliant phone>> <<@prinzexisalowqualityytber says : GRRRRRRR, UNEVEN BEZELS GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR (i still wanna buy this phone idnc)>> <<@tmars8225 says : Can you review the latest fair phone please?>> <<@electrifiedspam says : This kills me. You can have a desktop computer and if you are a little resourceful, you can get 20 years out of it. It may have to perform different functions, but is usable for at least 20 years. Even the best quality cell phones are e-waste trash by comparison.>> <<@pdgiddie says : Looking forward to a Fairphone 5 review... 😊>> <<@imibuks-replit says : Those bezel so thick you can get better value from other brands>> <<@nathanbalvay3812 says : THE FIVE ONE IS DEFINITIVELY PERFECT.>> <<@myles432 says : But who will actually make the switch over? As nice as the sustainability is, it isn't competitive enough in terms of the tech features like the display and performance. I mean, at least have the headphone jack so they can gloat about having a feature that the big companies removed. I have no faith in this device as it is now.>> <<@theholisticdog3381 says : I've had my phone for 5 years so what's the difference?>> <<@BOT-dv9lz says : Finaly 👍🏻 Tired of phones braking and buying new like every 2 year because of the cost of fixing. The evolution in phones stopped long ago, and now they are all the same i think.>> <<@---l--- says : The more responsible mining is a big selling point for me.>> <<@ArthurAtlas says : Has he upheld that pledge of including a section on repairability and sustainability in the newer reviews?>> <<@farhaanali5311 says : One thing to note would be that the Pixel isn't "Fairly" sourced so if they sourced all their material as sustainably as this Fairphone .The Google phone that was compared would actually be far more expensive but since they don't source as sustainably so they can sell a better product for a similar price (Spec wise at least).>> <<@YumYumUji says : Aye bruh why you stealin my camera>> <<@olivierfaure5896 says : 10:30 "So from here on out, I want to make a pledge to include some section in all my future smartphone reviews on repairability and sustainability to give these companies a reason to make these compromises." Narrator: He didn't.>> <<@pankajthapa1417 says : 7:26 says the guy who have drawer full of phones 🤣>> <<@jeanlucde1 says : Marques, all your reviews are excellent! The Fairphone company is revolutionary, affordable and produce true Smartphones - because they do everything you need in a smartphone but most importantly they are ecologically responsible and repairable! Samsung, Google, Apple etc etc etc produced Not-So-Smartphones (Dumbphones) because they happily plunder the earth's resources without due care and responsibility! My next smartphone will be a Fairphone!>> <<@RuthannaHutton-Okpalaeke says : I hope he reviews the new version!>> <<@riskyraccoon says : I wish you had kept up w/ your pledge>> <<@sgsuper1150 says : Good review. It is class leading in the 2T storage. Not even a S24 ultra has that.>> <<@sachinranaa8795 says : The self repairing thing is most amazing .>> <<@NoName-ml3kt says : I never keep my old phones. Whenever I buy a new phone I sell the old one. It gets a second life and puts extra cash in my pocket. Also I don’t have this need to get a new phone every single year. I had my iPhone 6S for 5 years before I upgraded to a 12. I’ve had said iPhone 12 for 3 years now and it still works fine. I don’t feel the need to get a new phone every year or to feed Apple’s overinflated ego by boosting their profits just so I can say I have the latest iPhone 🤷🏽‍♂️>> <<@0rgaSMM says : Too bad they got rid of the headphone jack>> <<@Executor009 says : Those wanting 100% sustainability bs should really read a bit about entropy.>> <<@deheiligebron says : Marques drawer: "I have 200 smartphones laying here!">> <<@hb-m823 says : DON'T FORGET THIS!! please do a review of the 5>> <<@hannahprince3512 says : I'd also like to shine some light on the fact that Fairphone has improved A LOT from where they started, and as they grow, so will their influence. They're not too far from matching other phones at their price point. And when that starts happening, it's gonna be a serious threat to other smartphone companies, even if it's just in publicity.>> <<@jamesx2703 says : 650 GBP is hella expensive for what it is though, you can pick up a A34 Samsung for 250 and specs probably aren't that far off It's annoying but if you smash your phone screen every two years, it's just cheaper to get a Motorola for 200 instead of paying for a 80 pound screen and a new battery It's a great concept though>> <<@bearbiter9051 says : I'm keeping my eye on this brand. Once they offer up a higher-end Snapdragon and a clean, flat edge rather than a curve, then I'll buy it. Edit: and a headphone jack pls>> <<@ItsVasl says : good!>> <<@Millaaxton says : Apple and samsung would find a way to ban them from the market, they both make so much money on repairs, apple more so, cant even replace the battery without taking half the phone off just to greeted with "unknown battery part">> <<@Dedsec-22 says : Legit!>> <<@Cdr_Mansfield_Cumming says : Wow, parts, including battery you can swap out. Just as we used to be able to do in 1998!>> <<@Skanoza says : Think i finally found myself the phone to replace my iPhone SE (1st gen) with. It's nice that finally, the push towards sustainability is gaining traction. Now all the lobbies will attack this company and make sure they never get a 'fair' entry into the competing arena, and this product will get such cynical press that it may never see the light of day. No, not being negative here, just reverse-jinxing it for luck.🤞🏼 More power to the Fairphone. I hope it succeeds.>> <<@coltentackett892 says : I really want a phone that i can swap batterys on with out removing anything and for it to already come in a very hardy rubber/aluminum case. I wouldn't mind if it were very large either. I have a pixel6 XL with a case like i described.>> <<@reachtrev69 says : Dont care about the polar bears but I'm all for right to repair.>> <<@mikeh.8155 says : Marques, can you please review the Fairphone 5?? I know it has an OLED display, so things are looking up!!!!!>> <<@asik6566 says : I have a question: If you remove the battery while its on does it damage the phone and when you remove it does it show something on the screen? (like if they could still track your location or somthing idk ;))>> <<@n.b.p.davenport7066 says : So they make a lot of money off the parts to😮 then can you recycle 100% of the parts ? Just asking.>> <<@n.b.p.davenport7066 says : So now I got to buy a charger🤨>> <<@n.b.p.davenport7066 says : Is it made in the US ?>>
