Whenever I buy a new phone I sell the old one. It gets a second life and puts extra cash in my pocket. Also I don’t have this need to get a new phone every single year. I had my iPhone 6S for 5 years before I upgraded to a 12. I’ve had said iPhone 12 for 3 years now and it still works fine.
