By His Spirit, we get His Spirit by His Son and we can only come to the Son if the Father draws us to Him, He says MANY are called so I take that as Him drawing us towards Him but FEW are chosen because for Him to choose us we must earnestly choose Him, His sovereignty though let's us know He knows who will or won't. We don't gotta worry about that if we love Him though because He knows our hearts. That's why there is an "elect" elect is to be chosen or singled out, thus Holy because holy is to be set apart and we can ONLY be set apart by faith, the same faith that we can only receive as a gift from God as we are all given a measure of such faith by Him. What we do with this faith is our choice and just because He knows our choice doesn't mean we didn't choose, it just means He knew it would happen and if we would be chosen. Christ knocks at the door and says if we answer He will dine with us, that's the calling and the answering is the choice that gets us chosen or set apart because it takes that faith He gave us to be applied to let go of all we know and trust fall into the arms of Christ Jesus. We won't know our measure of faith until we hear the truth though because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God and Jesus is the Living Word who knew us from before the foundation of the world. He proved to us who He was by rising after the third day and gave us the Holy Spirit, the Helper that testifies of Him because we've been with Him from the beginning.  John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 1 John 2:19 "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us." Matthew 15:24 "But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." Matthew 12:48-50 "But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” Luke 15:4-6 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?  And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ Romans 3:20 "Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Matthew 12:8 "For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” Matthew 12:12 "Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” Matthew 12 3-7 "But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple. But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless." Job 40:2 “Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him? It’s not 50/50, there are chances you might, but behind all that you make the decision, so I was destined to eat? That’s dumb because if we don’t we die, so I was destined to die, like when you try to use human understanding for that which is above, you’re left in circles walking around>> <<@jonlorie1 says : Every Man has a predestined path prepared by God. When it comes to a matter of the will, it boils down to whether or not your will is submitted to God's will. If you truly surrender to him and follow the path that he's prepared for you than you are predestined for something that he is sending you to. If you use your free will to make your own decisions then you will miss the predestined path that he has prepared. Calvinists never come to this conclusion, that's the biggest problem with their argument for predestination. Every Man has a destiny that God has created, but if your will has not surrendered to his, if his will is not to be done in your life, then you miss the predestined path.>> <<@deezynar says : Adam chose to trust Satan and to mistrust God. That switched humanity from being obedient to God, to being obedient and subject to Satan. God came to talk with Adam the next day and Adam hid from God because Adam did not trust God. God needed a family for Jesus to be born of in the future, so God performed an animal sacrifice for Adam. Adam did not ask for it. After that, we see Adam listening to God again. Adam listened and trusted God because God had changed Adam's heart. God did that without Adam asking him to do it. The animal sacrifice had no power in itself, but it was a symbol of the future sacrifice that God himself would make of himself. And that future sacrifice (future to Adam) absolutely had power to pay for sins. God had warned Adam that he would die if he violated the one rule he had given him. That rule was that Adam was to not eat the fruit from one particular tree. The death Adam experienced was two-fold. The first was that his heart would be changed to trust Satan rather than God. That made mankind become obedient to Satan, even becoming Satan's subjects. The eternal consequences of that are Adam, and all of his descendants, if left in that condition, would spend eternity separated from God's goodness and his good gifts. The second element of the death which God had foretold was physical death. Even though God saved Adam and removed the eternal destiny of separation between him and Adam, God did not remove from him the curse of physical death. Physical death is the event that ends Satan's power over them. Satan has no control over the physically dead. The physically dead enter a state in which they become fully aware of the spiritual realm, and of God's true role as creator, sustainer, and provider of everything that is good. The dead who were not saved, also learn of their own actions in life from a completely objective perspective. All of the rationalizations they used to justify their actions will be shown to be lies. Those who God has saved will be told they have no sins applied against them because Jesus' perfect life is applied to them. Those who God has not saved will no longer receive God's good gifts because they mistrusted God and resented him their whole lives. They were convinced that God did not have their best interests at heart. They were convinced that Satan's lie was true, the pleasures of the world bring real satisfaction and happiness. They will spend eternity with no pleasures and understand completely that the pleasures they enjoyed in this world were given to them from God, NOT Satan. When God sends Satan into the lake of fire for eternity, Satan will have no authority any longer. He will be deprived of all the power and comforts that God has provided him with since God created him. All humans, and all demons, in the lake of fire will constantly think about the love that God poured out on them while they were on the other side, and they will be in never ending regret that they despised their benefactor and worked against him. Even though God intervened after Adam rebelled and changed his heart, all of Adam's children still inherited Adam's obedience to Satan, and Adam's mistrust of God. Every person who is born starts life a slave of Satan's, and they all mistrust God. They have NO power to change their own minds because they have no interest in changing their minds. They can be told the gospel every day of their life and if God does not change their heart, they will laugh at the gospel every time. Satan questioned God's goodness and Adam accepted his claim. Adam believed that God did not have his best interests at heart. The belief that God does not have your best interests at heart has been embedded in human DNA since Adam's rebellion. We are born with it, and we cannot overpower it. We do not want to overpower it. That fact is why the virgin birth of Christ essential. Jesus had to be conceived without human male sperm, or he would have been born with the same curse that Adam earned. But of course, that was impossible, Christ's supernatural conception was essential, and destined to happen.>> <<@christian11111 says : Iv always explained it this way. It appears to us as predestination, but to God, who is not even within time, who always knew everything from before creation, to him he knew our choices, it is just knowing us. So to us in time it looks like God destined us before we were created, but in reality it’s that he for-knew our decisions. I mean predestined assumes time, God is not within time and thus the word does not even apply to what God does. The reason so many Christian apologist are denying it, is because they are terrified of *double* Predestination which is NOT a Biblical doctrine. Double predestination is the FALSE idea that if God predestined some people into salvation, then He must have predestined many into condemnation in Hell. The sane Biblical doctrine is; nobody is predestined to Hell, those who are not being saved, will receive God’s JUSTICE. They are lost because they sinned. That is perfectly JUST. Those who are saved, are saved by GRACE which is a free gift. God does not *owe* anyone the Gift of Grace. But Justice. Some are predestined to receive Grace. Some are predestined to get what they deserve. (which means he knows EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY. every decision made by any a human he already knew it in the beginning, for all history for any pesron, any event... Can we surprise God with our decisions at any point? Did he not know what we will decide with our free will something/anything when he created us. 2) if 1 is yes it means he knew who will go to hell and who will go to heaven in the beginning. (Or again did we surprised or caught God off guard with any of our choices) So predestination? Im not stating anything for a fact, just looking for answers of my dilemmas. And here we see he did not even authorise something that was done. Jeremiah 19:5 (KJV) They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: He came to die for all,not some, salvation has to do with you wanting to be saved. God wants everyone saved but not everyone wants to be saved,God has nothing to do with people's free will. 1 Timothy 2:1-6 (KJV) I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Emphasis on whosoever, not anyone particular in mind but anyone who chooses to believe. You can think of it this way,you are predestined to go to hell if you have not believed on the Son,but you being a creature of free will can change that supposed future by the actions you take. Why would we even be judged if God called all the shots on our personal decisions? Unless we are free creatures,my dear lost brothers and sisters you can make a choice today to trust in the salvation power of the blood of Jesus and be saved.>> <<@Texas--pz4ws says : Calvinism is the gospel ;)>> <<@pluto4301 says : Love the channel but the scriptures are clear that we are elect unto salvation.
