At 7:00, Bro literally predicted the Pixel 8 pro feature 2 years earlier 😂☠️.
>>
<<@madmarty7103
says :
I really don't like the hdr-hype. That's why the pixel phones win so much comparisons. For me it's an effect that shouldn't be switched on by default but it is. It kills the contrast of the picture and for me often pictures just look really artificial. The best picture blow you away and you still can't say for sure wether the picture was processed. Very often the pictures out of a Pixel phone are ugly to me because they look processed to much.
>>
<<@vikaluksena
says :
lol because of this I am actively searching for a phone that DOESN'T process the image a crazy amount, and I found it! the sony xperia 1 V, currently it's out of my budget...
>>
<<@mezt9918

6:39 he predicted a feature about the pixel 8 nearly 2 years before it actually happened. incredible

<<@BoujeBauji
says :
6:48 You guessed it
>>
<<@deniyii
says :
There’s nothing wrong with a manufacturer having their interpretations of what images their camera should output. However, there has to be an eject feature where users can opt out of any stylistic choices with a simple toggle.
>>
<<@harrybyaqussamprayuga1756
says :
I often get asked why my DSLR output photo that are so dull compared to their phones, I've become so tired of answering I resorted to "my camera is more honest". Sometimes people do take it as an offense but for those who wants to know more I simply imported the image to my phone and zoom, they usually gets the idea
>>
<<@anderbeau
says :
I just can’t with that giant white pus zit under his beard 😂
>>
<<@omkardey1019
says :
I think there should be a completely raw mode with no editing whatsoever so that will be quite some justice but then... real face of some camera systems will appear
>>
<<@vodhavokstudios
says :
@4:07 honestly…Android and Apple need to allow a feature that shows the user a natural view of the camera, no processing. There are things in life an Ai would not be able to capture. Like glass transparency. In @Peter McKinnon video comparing the iPhone to a Canon R5. They are literally almost there with becoming a reasonable content production powerhouse. They need to provide more control to the artist tho.
>>
<<@mini4dailytech982
says :
And that's why we have *pro mode*.
>>
<<@Aviator168
says :
My company developed a system that turns pictures of products into QR codes for point of sale 6 years ago. Stores don't have to purchase those expensive laser scanning machines. When a new product comes in, the manager takes about 8 to 10 pictures of the product from different angles and punch in the price. During check out, a camera looks at the item and recognizes it, then looks up its price.
>>
<<@smievil
says :
i can't even tell if the moon is real or just a photoshop now
>>
<<@QuicknStraight
says :
No, I am not Ok with it. I should be able to control the output. So I shoot in RAW and turn off as much of the AI as I can on my phone (Samsung S21).
>>
<<@strattonford2557
says :
We really need a comparison, with an actual photo taken from a manual camera next to it. We can compare all the phones we want, but when none of them are reality it's hard to set the baseline!

<<@cjr4286

I don't mind using smart technology to create the highest-quality image based on what the camera records, but I do mind superimposing something that was not recorded by the camera to begin with without the user knowing.
>>
<<@Mr_Tech_Geek
says :
Just tell us which phone you are using
>>
<<@phayd777
says :
i think google has done this already with the magic eraser feature =[
>>
<<@pmuean
says :
I'm ok as long as the user is explicitly told what is happening with their photos.
>>
<<@lethao5100
says :
Wow :>
>>
<<@iamchampchannel
says :
Xperia phone switch lens will not really use cropped there.. they in fact really switch to the lens you've selected
>>
<<@imagseer
says :
Another great video blog. I'm not happy with AI taking over picture making as its going to make it easy for gaslight someone who wasn't actually in a place at the time the photo was taken, and the implications for photographic evidence are really not good at all! I think a phone needs to shoot real mode or RAW by default and everything else gets called an artwork.
>>
<<@lolerie
says :
No iPhone doesn't look different with galaxy. ICC prifile in iPhone phitos should just be accounted for.
>>
<<@katscandance
says :
I hate how apple auto-edits the photos i take because it almost always looks horrible 😭 and the slow shutter speed when I take a photo in low lighting is even worse because usually it makes u stay still for like 3 seconds. which can’t happen when all the time. and the only way I’ve found a way to get it back to look like the normal image, is to have the Live Photo feature on and pick a different “key photo” for it
>>
<<@mariolimabuso8269
says :
Very intelligent examination of where technology is taking ,or canceling ,our creativity. I never really looked at it that way . Thanks.
>>
<<@sk-sm9sh
says :
Some features - such as taking two photos at same time from two different lenses - and merging their output to achieve superior quality - is pretty neat, don't see anything off with that - our brain does that too taking samples from both eyes and merging it. But the other stuff especially moving your pupils - that's getting eerie, and the case about the moon - that's just purest lies, likely done just to exploit advertisement that comes from the people sharing their assumed "sky photography" skills.
>>
<<@quackcement
says :
this is hilarious, all the effort into recognizing faces, yet due to smart phones having smaller image sensors they cant pick up your natural skins colors as well as a mirrorless camera.
>>
<<@amandazavala4659
says :
Tbh I just want a phone that makes my face look the same irl. Cuz I look at my self in the mirror and I look good but when I try to take a picture in ny phone I look like thrash. So If anyone has recomendations 🥹👍
