Now I'm at the part where you have to open the village gates via the Volan, however, it does not work. Melee and shok are gonna be your most reliable offense. You will use guns more later in the game, but you'll have to augment them to make them more useful. Crafting bullets will take away from your ability to upgrade weapons. There is plenty of ammo to be found, the ammo is more or less for the boss battles where you can't stay super close to them. Listen to the terms the main character uses when he addresses under water lol.
