America's government is the living documents, the Bible, the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights. The government is not those people who absconded with the authority and sit in the places of authority. Too many Christians want to go raise other nations in the ways of righteousness leaving their own neighbors behind to succumb to the world. Every church should have a school leaving public indoctrination behind. The Law demands Justice and Justice demands the death penalty the wages of sin. As a retired veteran, 9x deployed to war zones, I was once very patriotic. Let's not forget that the founding of this country was very Christian though not a quote-unquote Christian Nation. But other places around the world including Poland and Zambia are indeed Christian nations, even now even today. So to say let's politics do whatever politics are going to do has gotten us into this mess to begin with, that's the people who said it's fine to kill babies that the people that said it's fine to tax people into Oblivion or take things or support same-sex marriage. If people who are Christians who are in Congress or as a governor they would never vote for these things or support these things but rather biblical righteous things. It's honestly like an Amish approach, 'just leave me alone that's gross and bad I'm not touching it' That approach only works if it doesn't affect the average person, and really every single person, whether average or not.
