<<@michaelelijah-cd7wn says : I don't trust science I trust Jesus Christ. All science does not agree with God. Science i see it as a tool. A tool without good guidance has bad outcomes. Some scientific views say there is no God and and put out other views which go against the Bible. Jesus Christ always points to God and God always says place faith in Jesus Christ and Holy Spirt. Through science somethings are determined good or bad ,healthy or unhealthy, true or not true. Science is as a tool, a tool with bad guidance is bad news. Lean not upon your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge God and he will direct your paths, be not conformed to the ways of the world but instead be transformed by the renewing of your mind so you may understand what is good and acceptable to God. Beware of evil/bad communications because they can corrupt good manners/morals - The Bible>> <<@daddada2984 says : To God be the glory.>> <<@evanstavropoulos2993 says : Do you ever talk about vaccines?>> <<@170221dn says : Which would you trust more? 1) The science indicates this "x,y,z" and here is the evicence. 2) It has been divinely revealed to me that "x,y,z" are undeniably and dogmatically true. I think we all know the answer and almost everyone walks past a church to go to a hospital if they are seriously ill.>> <<@hardlyboiled says : nailed it again frank>> <<@markh1011 says : Of course scientists have their own biases but keep in mind that one of the main reasons that the scientific method is used its to reduce those biases as much as possible.>> <<@PatrickMenesesYTOfficial4945 says : Science should be SCIENTIFICALLY proven not SCIENTIFICALLY made up.>> <<@carolynjoyner7695 says : No, I don’t trust science!>> <<@keyman6689 says : And "experts" can come to opposite inferences from evidence, as J. Warner Wallace points out about jury trials.>> <<@colinmatts says : Science has put men on the moon, performed organ transplants, can take us from one continent to another in hours and allows us to communicate across thousands of miles instantaneously. When has religion achieved anything on that level?>> <<@thesaviorofALL says : Nope not at all Jesuits>> <<@dukelmg1 says : I feel very few religious people follow your logic at the end there, asking the questions"Who says that" and "what evidence do you have". Because let's be honest, when it comes to big questions like the age of the earth and evolution, scientists agree and the evidence is vast and public. However, people still will ignore the evidence and just keep using the bias excuse or find something else to dismiss it. Same with issues happening now like the Covid vaccine. We have Doctors and scientists telling us about covid and about the vaccine. The evidence is mounting, the information is public, and the numbers are there to back it up. However, people still will ignore the evidence and have literally died over misinformation or from thinking there's biases. Which yes there can be biases, like a pharmacy company wanting to push out vaccines for profit, but we can still look at the evidence and the numbers. Basically, the evidence can be clear, cut, and made public, with experts agreeing and showing why they agree, and there will still always be someone who is skeptical or flat out in denial, throwing their hands up as if nobody has any idea or nobody can be trusted because of biases. However if it is something that fits their worldview, many religious people will be much less critical and more willing to accept something with little to no research.>> <<@alfonrizaldi5828 says : Don't trust scientist who divorce his wife. That's what the bible says. From what he has done, you will know if he can be trusted or not>> <<@cabranoia says : They've made the science their god; so if "the science says it" in their minds it is the gospel truth and cannot possibly have any error in it.>> <<@justAgirl.devoted says : Please pray for my family! It’s possible we all have COVID. And my parents our elderly. Please specifically pray for my dad he has health issues. His name is Leo>> <<@YoungMommy14 says : Is that Turek or just some dude with an equally annoying disposition? Condescending comment aside, he's right. This phrase 'Trust The Science' has become a very famous Maxim that is very prevelant in My Neighbour to The South, 'Murica. It's funny... I don't think I've heard any fellow Canadian utter that phrase. The phrase doesn't even make sense. Science fundamentally is a Method. A very reliable method of testing the credibility of a hypothesis. So... The term 'Trust The Science' doesn't really make a heck of a lot of sense. TRUST THE EVIDENCE by contrast more than reasonable. Amd, I agree with Frank Turek's twin brother, that you SHOULD be privy any data that is legal for public viewing. Now... That being said. Let's be real, people. There is a BIT OF AN ISSUE vis a vis, unreasonable hysteria and distrust of The Scientific Establishment in The Right Wing Community. So... Like I often say 'The Truth often lies somewhere in the middle'. I think there's a rather big issue on The Right in reference to Conspiracy Theory dissemination and tendency to believe them all devoid of using any critical analysis. For instance, Q Anon was one of the most patently ridiculous things I've very heard of and they had tonnes and tonnes of members. Come on. Exercise critical thinking at all times. But, like the dude said, try to obtain all the data that you can. There's a myriad ways that you can manipulate things in such a manner that will render study results fraudulent. Bless.>> <<@TheClimbingBronyOldColt says : Science today, is treated and reverenced, as if it were a god. And anything questioning/criticizing this "science" is sacrilege. Ironically, people not believing in God says; "How dare you question science?!" Science is made up by people, and all people are susceptible to corruption and bias.>> <<@Tyler-Hoskins says : I miss the days when your podcast episodes were mainly apologetics with a dash of current event commentary. Now it just seems you’ve completely turned over to politics and conspiracy theories with a little bit of apologetics sprinkled in You’re basically one tantrum away from being Alex Jones>> <<@Nimish204 says : We trust scientists because they follow the scientific method. Any scientist who does not follow the scientific method is untrustworthy. The Scientific Method is the most reliable and trustworthy method of determining truth, we have so far created. Anybody who follows this method is to be trusted.>> <<@Matthew_Holton says : the bottom line is that science works. It is the proven gold standard method of learning how reality actually functions. It is evidence based and self-correcting and has taken us from primitive ignorance to an enlightened and technologically advanced civilisation. In doing so it has had to fight against the cultural inertia, opposition and interference of religion.>> <<@halfigliulo1019 says : I trust science far more than I trust a blasphemous sinner and false prophet named Jesus.>> <<@Hoi4o says : Christian apology from people like Frank Turek is one of the things that brought me back to Christ. Christian apologetics is an incredibly powerful branch of philosophy, which should really be widely used by churches nowadays. It's astounding how some arguments are just as true today, as they were 1500 years ago. It all points to a single source - Christ, His Holy Father and the Holy Spirit are the Path, the Truth and the Life.">> <<@Agent-xX51Xx says : Quick question is 332 the max amount of replies that can be made on a thread cause I can’t reply anymore in the thread of my first comment.>> <<@jasond4484 says : Because they ought to be! Sir, you are truly a Mighty Warrior of The Great Yah of Israel. You have my honor. God bless you Sir. May The Lord God of Israel continue to bless u for all the good work that you have done. Hallejujah 🔥.>> <<@bostonterrierfanatic9652 says : Science is not a religion 😂>> <<@jhamilton1007 says : You're speaking my language here on this topic. From personal experience especially, right now in the Era of Covid, I have been very skeptical about what they have been saying about this virus. Whereas many people in my close family tend to be taking what the "science" has been saying as gospel. It's been very tricky and confrontational at certain points.>> <<@desmondbishop5808 says : Actually if you can get over yourself for a minute, peer review is non-negotiable before anything becomes accpted as scientific fact. Your results must be produced without you by using your notes. So I don't know why any would put all their trust in the individual when it's the verified data you should be looking at.>> <<@h1o84 says : You have science and "science" Like gold and pyrite (foolish gold) do you have now ledge with ores?? If we turn to the bible for answers about what we should believe about the world and see nothing about technology, should we be using it? or do we make an exception?>> <<@calebbrininger7483 says : As a new believer I have been told we are not suppose to cast demons out and also told we are. Also after becoming born again can Christians still be delivered or is it not necessary? Can you please do a video on this brother I'm stuck.>> <<@chucksdesk says : I trust science, I just don’t trust the interpretation of science by those who claim to be science experts or those who say don’t question what these people say without question. A true scientist questions everything and invites discussions. Those who have an agenda attack those who want discussion.>> <<@stormykeep9213 says : Science in itself can be it's own religion, with the scientists doubling as priests whom we are supposed to put all our faith into. Of course, actual science is constantly changing and always debatable, so when the media and politicians start using terms like "scientific consensus," (that's actually an oxymoron) you should be very skeptical and seek your own information.>> <<@bugatti99vun says : I have a simple answer to people who say, science is everything. Earth is there, there are so many elements to be discovered. Scientists are just DISCOVERER, they find new elements existed LONG AGO, and share the info of it. Yes they process these elements and making use of them, but still, they are just using what already out there, and do experiments. Dont say science says..... Science is just a discovery process. God created all things for them to discover. Make sense?>> <<@Stargazer874 says : I always considered science to be God’s way doing things.>> <<@HansBezemer says : Well, it may be because of the scientific method. With its peer reviews, comments and replication. Performed by educated experts who are MUCH better equipped to judge that data than you will ever be.>> <<@hoomee7605 says : Do I trust science? Only if it is open to debate and not blocked by large social media as is these days.>> <<@The-Mstr-Pook says : Don't trust 'The Science' (scientism) because it is a secular religion and not at all scientific. The very fact that that evidence can not be debated, or if you hold an opposing view, one gets treated like a religious apostate shows it to be so. The proponents behave like religious zealots with enforcement of Blasphemy laws and social ostracism. The scientists and Dr's. Are held up as high priests of truth. But notice not all scientists or Dr's. Only those who hold the accepted views. I could go on but I think point is made.>> <<@DrasticFizz says : Do I still have the capacity to recieve (in my heart) the conviction of Christ's existance and the salvation by Jesus after I declined the Holy Spirit for years? Its so empty inside...>> <<@FrogToadBug says : Science can be checked and corrected, unlike religion. Religion is full of BS that can't be corrected because it's based on faith rather than evidence.>> <<@AndrejJodko says : God bless, thanks>> <<@Barabbas7798 says : Science has been completely corrupted>> <<@stevepa999 says : When they say "I trust the science" what they really mean is I trust the science from scientists that I deemed credible.
