In the original it was a lot more menacing and gave me the biggest "oh shit" moment that I can remember with the slower revelation of the beginning of his transformation. Took me well over 20 tries. It's one of my most distinct Resident Evil memories, along with parrying thrown farming equipment on a gondola. I'm actually playing the RE4 Remake for the first time while watching this series, though I'm making sure to stay a few chapters ahead so I'm not spoiled. I think Chapter 10 is what I'm on as of this video.
