The issue of objective morality and Christian faith in general is nicely and easily presented in the novel called "Adonai" by Arman Isayan, which could be especially helpful for younger people who struggle with the issue of faith

[Romans 14:23 KJV] [23] And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because [he eateth] not of faith: for whatsoever [is] not of faith is sin. [Romans 4:19-25 KJV] [19] And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: [20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; [21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. [22] And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. [23] Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; [24] But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; [25] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Please, prayerfully consider (at least) these two passages. The first, in the context of food, the second, in the Lord Jesus our Salvation and Resurrection. Neither one even remotely implies that doubt is a good thing. WHATSOEVER is not of faith is sin. God may use our doubts for good (Romans 8:28), but that doesn't mean they are good. I also note that the strength of faith is not how convinced you feel, but in the Arm of the LORD, Jesus Christ, the Rock, who is doing the talking. The words of the Holy Spirit are freely given, the treasure of the Good Man's heart is good and incorruptible down to the very word, and if they are not received as such, they are not received at all. You cannot truly receive the gift of God as anything other than what it is: the GIFT, of GOD. (1Corinthians 2:12-14, Matthew 12:33-37, Romans 10:16-18, 1Thessalonians 2:13, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1Peter 1:23 KJV)

I try to doubt as many things as I can, it helps keep me safe from snake oil, conman, and computer viruses. Instead of training yourself to get a "high" by telling yourself that your right. Consider teaching yourself to not get so upset about being wrong. Anyway, WTF is up with this comment section? Nobody has anything to say even remotely related to the video.

Hello. I am an atheist. I define atheism as suspending any acknowledgement as to the existence of a god until sufficient evidence is introduced. My position is that *_I have no good reason to acknowledge the existence of gods._* And here is the evidence as to why I currently hold to such a position. Below are 10 facts I must consider when evaluating the claim made by theists that a god exists. To be clear, these are not premises for an argument concluding there to be no gods. These are simply facts I take into account when evaluating the claim. 1. I personally have never observed a god. 2. I have never encountered a person whom has claimed to have observed a god. 3. I know of no accounts of persons claiming to have observed a god that were willing or able to demonstrate or verify their observation for authenticity, accuracy, or validity. 4. I have never been presented a valid logical argument which also employed sound premises that lead deductively to a conclusion that a god(s) exists. 5. Of the 46 logical syllogisms I have encountered arguing for the existence of a god(s), I have found all to contain either fallacies or false or unsubstantiated premises. 6. I have never observed a phenomenon in which the existence of a god was a necessary antecedent for the known or probable explanation for the causation of that phenomenon. 7. Several proposed (and generally accepted) explanations for observable phenomena that were previously based on the agency of a god(s), have subsequently been replaced with rational, natural explanations, each substantiated with evidence that excluded the agency of a god(s). I have never encountered _vice versa._ 8. I have never experienced the presence of a god through intercession of angels, divine revelation, the miraculous act of divinity, or any occurrence of a supernatural event. 9. Every phenomena that I have ever observed has *_emerged_* from necessary and sufficient antecedents over time without exception. In other words, I have never observed a phenomenon (entity, process, object, event, process, substance, system, or being) that was created _ex nihilo_ - that is instantaneously came into existence by the solitary volition of a deity. 10. All claims of a supernatural or divine nature that I have encountered have either been refuted to my satisfaction, or do not present as falsifiable. ALL of these facts lead me to the only rational conclusion that concurs with the realities I have been presented - and that is the fact that there is *_no good reason_* for me to acknowledge the existence of a god. I have heard often that atheism is the denial of the Abrahamic god. But denial is the active rejection of a substantiated fact once credible evidence has been presented. Atheism is simply withholding such acknowledgement until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. *_It is natural, rational, and prudent to be skeptical of unsubstantiated claims, especially extraordinary ones._* I welcome any cordial response. Peace.

_"Thinking God let you down... ten minutes from now you'll feel worse... tell yourself the correcting things, and you will be on a high"_ Indeed. The opium of the masses. Like any addiction, it can take a while to get over the hump. It's usually worth it in the long run!

I don't think that's true. If you don't think G0d exists you don't feel any better or worse than a person who does. In my experience with people of many/no faiths your feelings have a lot more to do with how fulfilled you are than whether or not you believe in a G0d.

The Impossibility Of The Contrary: -It is impossible to be without knowledge of uniformity of nature. -Knowledge of uniformity of nature is impossible without God. -It is impossible that God does not exist. -God exists. The Uniformity Of Nature: The principle that the future will resemble the past, in that when sufficiently similar situations recur, similar effects follow. Nature is uniform means nature is constant in respect of its laws. So how do you know/on what basis do you (note Q isn't: on what basis don't you something) believe that your reply will reach me? That you or your surroundings won't turn to dust the next nanosecond? On what basis do you justify operating upon the belief that nature will be uniform? -inb4s: -But SCIENCE! DEMONSTRABLE! REPEATABLE! Yes, all those depends upon the UON which you can't account for. -Nature isn't uniform. The laws of nature has never changed. Miracles suspends or adds, not change. -Define knowledge. Justified true belief. -I don't know/I don't have the belief that nature will be uniform. Is a self-refuting statement. So it's impossible. -I wouldn't be replying if I didn't. Irrelevant thesis. -Prove the impossibility of the second premise. It's proven by the non-existence of a contrary possibility to justify operating upon said belief. Same way a possibility to undo the past does not exist, so it's impossible to undo the past. -I know nature will be uniform on the basis that nature has been uniform. Circular logic, missing the point of the Q. -Assuming what you're trying to prove in the premise. Y. X is a necessary precondition for Y. X. -The obligation to justify my belief which I operated upon isn't necessary. (Prejudicial reasoning, hypocrisy.) Then my watch is evidence of (X) so it's still impossible that said (X) isn't true. (Discussions, debates rendered unnecessary.) -So it's impossible that God does not exist/God exists because? Precisely because there has to be a "because", a justification to begin with which the self-defeating Q lacks. The only thing an atheist needs to hear is the fact that they already know God exists as demonstrated above. So what's the point if they already know so? To shut their mouth, Romans 1:20, now verbally too, admission that he exists. And yes it's Biblical, Colossians 1:17. Also shout-out to: The Burden Of Opinion. Like playing along with a child's play pretend, any further like giving evidence as the evidentialist does on the matter of God only serves to feed & strengthen their delusion. The evidential apologist even dishonors God by elevating these children to the position of judge with God being the one on trial. Laughable, of course it naturally results in gavel pummeling enthusiasts. Now what the based apologist does is, confiscate it. Why call it based apology? It reveals the baselessness of the opposition all the more as demonstrated above.
