To my surprise, it came with Win 11 Pro preinstalled on the 2.5 HDD. I was going to swap in a SSD so I can run Linux, but your video makes me curious whether I have an M.2 slot so I could just set it up to dual boot using separate drives. I watched this video when it first came out and had the EliteDesk 800 G2 bookmarked in an Amazon list in case I ever needed it. That certainly paid off. Thanks for your years of great videos. (Also, seeing others comment on noise - this particular unit is really quiet.) Update: I have 2 M.2 slots as in the video. I'm now running Linux Mint on a 2280 NVME. The 2023 Intel N100 would be faster than this the i5-6100T and with a much lower TDP (6W vs 35W). Also has M.2 SSD but not sure if it was just SATA or NVME. It does not have those top cover meshed openings nor the secondary fan which both would help with thermals for sure!
