<<@KyleHerbert13 says : Using this for reference for a fantasy book that I'm writing. Thank you for the video.>> <<@darkshock42mlg05 says : Police are trained to aim at the belly with less lethal ammo. It's usually to disable a drunk aggressor.simlar to punching them in the face. Paul Harrell did tests on his meat target with rubber batons and rubber buckshot. The rubber baton caused some damage and that guy would be in the hospital.>> <<@x44keith says : Great idea, I'd be interested in something commercial. Keep up the excellent work 👍>> <<@garrettmillsap says : You should get in touch with youtuber Houston Jones. Im positive he would be happy to be the test subject to see if they cause enough pain to be effective self defence bolts!>> <<@wingnutbert9685 says : Judging from the sound of the bolt when loading, there's quite a lot of friction. Be good to see the barrel smoothed out some more to see what the stat's are then.>> <<@jerrygillespie6121 says : Less lethal is a very good option depending where one lives, and the state, county laws as well as the the political veiws of the prosecutor, liberal prosecutor means hard sentencing even if one was to trying to stop a attacker with cottonballs. It all comes down to a political agenda views on how far can one go in a self defense situation, kill someone one may be looking at murder to manslaughter, less lethal one may be looking at attempted murder to aggrevated assualt with a weapon to cause bodily harm, on the other hand if one happens to live where stand your ground laws are in effect, with a conservative prosecutions office then one could expect not to be charged with anything in a self defense situation.>> <<@pierresmith6999 says : Great video>> <<@cipriandavid4995 says : that is amazing. well done sir>> <<@scottcarns5156 says : Coolbeens nice>> <<@josephcason5844 says : That is a short piece of metal which would act like a dead blow hammer. More firmer hit.>> <<@josephcason5844 says : What if you put a piece of solidetal inside the tube. Similar to how a dead blow hammer, except that this metal will slide and work like a dead blow hammer>> <<@kevins90sc says : You are "The Man".Love your ideas and delivery of content. I will keep visiting your channel. Thanks from Washington state.>> <<@superclaymaster says : Maybe it can be marketed as a nutcracker>> <<@GUITARDIS says : I want one! When you build it, I will buy it.>> <<@jc9233 says : Less lethal plays a huge role. You use them in instances where deadly force legally isnt acceptable. .. It's not made for people who dont want to "kill someone" Or do "less damage" It's all about the repercussions after words. Like pepper spray to a firearm. You can spray someone and go home whereas if you shot them off the rip youd be going to jail.>> <<@macky65 says : BITD - I used to see blunt rubber head "reverse cone" for "small game" ? would they be the same?>> <<@lbg5435 says : You should check out middle age small game/bird hunting bolts. Large solid head to spread out impact. Could give u other ideas>> <<@davesunhammer4218 says : Uh, there are "less lethal" options out there under "small game blunt tips" and other practice type tips. Some are very wide. Meanwhile, if you really want some "non-lethal" crossbow then get a 35lb draw and use some of the "safety bolts" available. Buying some 80lb pistol or 150lb rifle crossbow to make "non-lethal" is... just... well... And then, maybe just be smart enough to shoot people in non-lethal body places.>> <<@mrmyth5846 says : Very informative….>> <<@mrmyth5846 says : With a crossbow you’re easily within hearing distance. Let the assailant know that first shot to the chest was a warning and to leave. The second will go through him. Followed by a third and forth if necessary.>> <<@markburban9573 says : I'm not sure muzzle loading this bow is the safest thing to do (does it even have a safety)?>> <<@Zero_8347 says : maybe the bolt should be a heavy cast iron shaft with a wider ball tip>> <<@larrycox6614 says : Awesome! Look forward to Phase 2. I would prefer to NOT to kill anyone, but rather be able to stop the intruder(s) in such a way that law enforcement can take care of the rest.>> <<@Gandalf-The-Green says : This might have even more stopping power than a conventional crossbow bolt delivering the same energy. In self defense you are really looking at stopping power not lethality.>> <<@rickrouse7865 says : How about a tazer bolt? The bolt doesn't need to be heavy and the prongs can be 1/2 an inch to make sure it digs into it's target and tazes it. The tazer bolt can taze it's target for 10 seconds or so giving you time to run or fight, that's the goal.>> <<@butchssurvivorranch360 says : Name it the BIOPSY lol 😆... Perhaps try a Solid Rubber head that screws on to shaft from bottom, like rubber vermin tips. Just a thought>> <<@meanunclebob1819 says : Seems a fair chance to knock the wind out of an 'unruly person' as well. I was thinking along Green Arrow (classic) lines of something on the end of a normal but longer bolt. Like a CO2 cartridge with the end drilled out.>> <<@ysegrim9824 says : If the final crossbow will be of a repeating nature it could be a serious less lethal alternative for home defense.>> <<@amazoniancustodian says : I agree with you, If you need to protect yourself from an intruder, make it so they can’t press charges and put you in prison because they robbed your house. *perhaps use taser bolts, so that it’s little penetration but also very shocking. 🫠>> <<@shawngabriel7397 says : I would like to see someone with enough guts like the ones in Jackass, to have their torso be a target for this.>> <<@JoE-pn8pw says : Wie wäre es mit veränderten Pfeilen für die Scuba Ringer??>> <<@kurtremislettmyr7108 says : there's room for the flight stabilizers inside the arrow as iit lies in the magazine>> <<@MiccaPhone says : About ammo weight in crossbows: If I understand correctly, for small distances in self defense situations (i.e. where accuracy does not matter and I just need to hit somewhere around the stomach) "heavier" is always better, so even if I have a 35 lbs arm, I should rather use a 15 g or 18 g bolt (designed for 90+ lbs) rather than a 10 g bolt, because (a) it'll get slightly more energy (Joules) and (b) it'll get even more much more momentum than the lighter bolt. Ex. 1: 39 m/s for a 10 g bolt yields energy = 7.60 J and momentum = 0.39 Ns. Ex. 2: 30 m/s for a 17 g bolt yields energy = 7.65 J and momentum = 0.51 Ns.>> <<@EFT-tk9ph says : Genial, bitte weiter dran bleiben. So genial, eine sehr starke aber nicht letale Selbstverteidigungswaffe.>> <<@OlegsKop says : Believe that middle of the tip should not be ampty to have more contact area, so to have les penetratoin. As well would be good to see results on human body replicated gel, not the ''Strong" one. Do i misunderstud about strong gel?>> <<@patriciocordova449 says : I love the inappropriate laughter 😂>> <<@Aconitum_napellus says : You hit someone in the head with something doing 30ft/lbs they're gone.>> <<@kingling1825 says : @joergsprave: wie schätzt du die slinghammer mit 10/12mm Stahlkugeln als Selfdefense ein? sollte das nicht eine ähnlichen Effekt haben wie diese dicken Pfeile?>> <<@PerdixDesignLtd says : Maybe consider a rubber plug inside the foot moulding used as a head? With the ring making contact, the local pressure load will be higher than the comparable slug>> <<@anoldguyplaystankforce2529 says : if the price is not prohibitive, id buy one.>> <<@stevenprice812 says : @taofledermaus>> <<@symphonyofdistraction says : Less than lethal repeater please! 🙂>> <<@TheBeefSlayer says : 8:30 that’s a nice punch!>> <<@maxrokatanski2466 says : Sorry.Did the arrow really touch the String in cocking position???>> <<@deFlow1988 says : *if you know, what i mean“ 😂😂😂>> <<@seanmurphy6480 says : SKS SPRING LOADED BAYONET?>> <<@saluteadezio7893 says : I wonder how the "crown" tip would work with clothing on top. Would it get stuck in the cloth?>> <<@threedkilla2579 says : I think it would be a cool product>> <<@Peritye says : You should have a podcast>> <<@АркадийКиселевский-ы6ь says : its need to feal with explosives😅>>
