We have a Manjaro installation video. We also have some pictures in the Manjaro forum that it has some touch support with the Radxa Zero. But does someone use Manjaro with the Radxa Zero? Recently someone posted a review about Fedora running on a Raspberry Pi 4, which works but has issues. What about Manjora and Radxa Zero, is the Radxa Zero with Manjora usable, and is the Radxa Zero in general usable? I can find hardly any users who report that they use it.

i have one of these boards and the only os i can get to run without really any issue is Debian. i got one of the manjaro distros to install, but it would Not recognize Nor connect to my one bluetooth mouse...debian connected no problem. i would Prefer another os over debian, but its the only one on list that works without hardware issues. its a great board, just needs the software support. i would really like to use for 4k youtube and other video playback, but wifi keeps 4k from playing well and hulu is not supported on linux from the messages ive gotten when trying to play its content.

On the Radxa website are instructions on how to erase the eMMC drive and how to install an OS on it. No serial console needed. The instructions show you how to use the eMMC on the Radxa Zero as a USB drive thet you can write an image to using something like Belana Etcher.

Looked promising as I wanted a decently powered Pi Zero form factor SBC to pait with the power hat I have, glad I did a search first though from the looks of it the GPIO pins are incompatible with Pi hats. Maybe it's just me but what's the point of taking something else's form factor and a general feature like GPIO headers if its not going to be a drop in replacement, it's kind of the same issue I have with loose standards, as manufacturers sport the logo but have half the features cut at their discretion. It would be kind of like ordering organic beef and then being given a plant based substitute, it's not lying (as plant based is still organic in a loose sense of the word), but neither it is being honest with the consumer who was expecting a real meat product without the additives.

I hope the Pi Zero 3 will, at least, match or surpass the specs of the Radxa Zero in this way: 1 or 2GB RAM (2 gigs would be preferable because that way web browsing would no longer be a problem), Quad-core Cortex A55 (or even an A510) @ 1.4Ghz, 32GB eMMC flash chip, a new videochip that flawlessly plays 1080p/x265 content, 2 USB-C (3.0) connectors, and support for 128GB SD cards (or replace it with an additional USB-C 3.0 connector). If this makes the Pi Zero 3 twice as expensive compared to the Zero 2, then that's no problem: 20,- pounds is still very cheap ;-) But I'm probably dreaming too much and should wake up to reality ^^

These seem to be entertainment system cpus. Like of TV boxes etc... To increase the pointer, icons and text, it's often enough to change the screen resolution to a lower setting. On your 1080p monitor, just set the unit to output 720p. I'm also surprised that the AMLogic CPU support on this board is so bad, considering that consecutive cpus (S905x3) have been around for nearly 3 years now, and the x4 is out for 2 years as well!

<<@spartanfoxie

one thing people forget with these when they compare to the zero saying how much better it is, is that even now with the zero 2, it fits all it's components on a single side whereas this needs both sides essentially giving them double the space. obviously once you solder a header onto it the space saved by doing that is negated but I do love the pi zeroes for that
