Do I pray this on? I believe much of our Spiritual walk these days are battles against spirits and the principalities of this earth. I am currently praying and walking through my town. I believe Jesus wants to release my entire town from spiritual bondage. I want to share the Gospel as I walk and on my first day I was able to witness with some and found some walking with God already. Day two was a walk without incident. I feel God calling me to walk through my town for seven days, praying and seeking his will. Also I am in need of getting back into shape. I take a more Mormon view (and more like ancient animism) that God created from already existing 'materials', which were 'beings' who already had individuality and distinct dispositions. Classical theology has great 'difficulty' (ie I think it fails) in explaining how there can be evil in a creation wholly made by a wholly good God. But I regard divine creation as an ongoing and developing process; by which God gradually recruits and develops already-existing beings, into to a creation rooted in mutual love. Evil was already present (i.e. those who act against creation and first selfishly, then to restore pre-creation a purposeless meaningless chaos of uncoordinated beings). However, the first commandment with promise says that, if one honours his/her father and mother that the individual would live long on the earth (Ephesians 6). So even though god does not promise all believers a long life, he DOES promise believers who honour their parents a long life.
