So when we come to gain life beyond the grave, you must be born of God and heaven to live forever in heaven. Eternal life is not found in religion It is only "by birth". Jesus is eternal life. The "indestructible seed" born again of Jesus will live forever. How a person lives can be understood from two sides. They are. 1) Rising from from spiritual death 2) Or a new birth from the spiritual world. This is the law life. It is necessary to be born on earth to live on earth. The demons believe that God is one, demons believe in monotheism, look at the verse, everlasting life wasn't offered to the demons so it's a mute point. Trying to make a distinction between faith in and faith that just causes unnecessary confusion. How did Jesus evangelize? Look at scripture. Faith is simply being convinced or persuaded that a propositional statement is true. We must believe that Jesus is the Christ or believe in Him for everlasting life. Believing in His identity or ability is sufficient because one implies the other. John 11 - Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” 27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” Jesus stated His ability Martha replied with belief in His identity. That's it faith is faith there's no such thing as genuine faith or faith that faith in, doing these unscriptural definitions and distinctions with faith let's works creep in through the back door.
