Answer ALWAYS existed. String / multi-membrane universes have done away with the staple "something from nothing" that most Theists no long use to negate the Atheists stance on the Big Bang. BTW - the BB theory was invented by a priest.>> <<@kennywong5857 says : That actually shows how people are brainwashed by our own education system. They think that science deals with everything while science only deals with a repeatable phenominon. When your own mom said that you ever ate eggs before the age of 2, how can science approve or disapprove her saying? Science doesn't with this non-repeatable historical instance. Even when you have to apply 'science' to this scenario, no scientific conclusion can be drawn, as science relies on its predictability and falsifiability to confirm a truth, which subsequently requires a phenomenon must repeat itself (i.e., to make it predictable and falsifiable).>> <<@Mike-sd9we says : Her initial premise is incorrect. Evidence isn't backed up with fact. There are only two kinds of evidence: direct and indirect. Evidence is anything that points toward a reasonable conclusion.>> <<@ninaahwww says : What’s not taught in the science classroom is that scientific theories are theories. Theories can be questioned. Theories are often used for things that have happened but no one saw them happen. Many scientific theories have years of long-standing belief & body of evidence that they are taught as fact because they have been accepted as the best explanation to explain something. At one time, everyone accepted the theory that the world is flat. It was a theory that was accepted as fact, because it was the best explanation at the time, and no other body of evidence to contradict that theory. Until… scientists began to gather evidence that the theory couldn’t explain. Until scientists began to question the flat earth theory. It wasn’t easy for that long-standing theory, believed to be fact, believed to be the only theory that could explain the world, to be refuted.>> <<@medicisounds1384 says : Societal science! LMAOOO SHE JUST COMING UP WITH FACTS ON THE SPOT>> <<@SwellMicelle says : Professional apologist stumps student, wow. Pummeling students without media training or public speaking experience with memorized talking points isn't impressive. She said to make buildings and to plant more trees ☠️💀>> <<@mikemaresca4999 says : Fact =/= Science. Science is the study and experiment of what can be observed to DERIVE fact. It had no beginning nor has it an end. I know this is something very very hard for the human mind to wrap it's head around. Science cannot explain the origin of the universe any more accurately than religion can. We simply do not have the tools to do it, we think we do but we simply do not. Even with the best science in existence at the time, It is just simply subpar guesses at best. The most logical conclusion to me is that just like everything that exist in our universe keep changing form so too does the actual universe itself. simple example would be: The human body. We exist for X amount of time in the form of Humans. When we die we enter a process of decomposition to transform into something else. We seize to exist as human beings and what constitute our makeup of energy, Electrons, Protons and Neutrons start to disperse and become something else. Be it part of the fauna or ash, the point remains that we have transformed from being a human being into some other part of the universe as a whole. But what made us who we were is gone the moment we die, the only thing that remains are the memories in other peoples lives that we took part in. And this is exactly how i think about the universe, it is constantly changing just as everything else in it does, it does not need a beginning or an end because it was always here, ever changing, forever changing. it has no need for a "God">> <<@memmener says : Anytime the asker has hands on hips, you know they don't care about the answer.>> <<@DrewTrox says : Science is a tool. Simple as that.>> <<@MrFossil367ab45gfyth says : Not all questions are scientific. There are moral, philosophical, religious, spiritual, etc. This doesn't mean science will never touch these questions as it advances, but who says science will answer all questions? Who says all questions about reality have to be validated scientifically or are meant to be scientific? Who says science is the only way to know reality?>> <<@WORDversesWORLD says : Science is nothing but a religion!>> <<@mushihimesarna728 says : She has like 7 boosters.>> <<@bohem5568 says : Good question. Point is, the logic or science doesn't lead to the religious conclusions he supposes. And what seems ironic is that Christians try to use a scientific methodology to support their religion.>> <<@paulrussell6495 says : Girl trying to sound like she knows everything, sit down>> <<@healthfadsfade says : Science doesn’t have all the answers; religion has none.>> <<@alexanderwhite298 says : Science does not need logic or logical reasoning in order to be proven factual, just the scientific method. Carter is putting forth a presupposition that a God exist without evidence is unethical.>> <<@eltonron1558 says : Does she know science doesn't know the origin of the most important events in history. Universe, life, consciousness, copious water on our planet. It's not an accident.>> <<@titanjde says : Yeah hard stop on this. Science IS NOT fact nor is it truth. Science is a method of seeking truth based on evidence and facts. The validity of a scientific claim will change based on the available evidence.>> <<@G1stGBless says : Oh, she was definitely disagreeing. She just didn’t have the courage to say so.>> <<@johnboehmer6683 says : Science strives to establish facts, but constantly fails. Science in no way can be defined as "fact".>> <<@graphguy says : There is no science without God.>> <<@donn07 says : AMEN ♥️🙏>> <<@grantbartley483 says : Citing science but not knowing what science is>> <<@nathanielchapman1829 says : She designed science as "fact". That says everything I need to know about how uneducated she is. There are facts within science, but not all science is facts. Much of it is theories that need proof and evidence to become fact.>> <<@michaelmartinez407 says : "You showed pictures of stars and all of that.. " The beginning of the end.>> <<@blank557 says : Scietfic theory is not established fact. Repeat, Theories are not facts. They are only a working model to explain phenomenon, and that model can change based on new data. For science to be a valid disciple, it must be falsifiable, which means it is open for correction. Thus, Science is not fiat dogma. Newton's law is modified by Einstein's law which is further modified by Hawkins, and so on and so. This means that all science is based on faith that the understanding we now have is true, understanding it is perfectly feasible to be incomplete or incorrect. Even math is hypothetical. We don't know for sure the shortest distance between two points is a straight line, because the universe has all sorts of things that could change that, such as Black holes, worm holes, etc. So what science cannot explain, should not mean one cannot propose an inference that there is a all powerful divine being.>> <<@bradprice8040 says : Science is just the name we have given to having a theory about something that can be tested by other people and they show the same result. For example, the theory of gravity. It was posited that there is an unseen force that acts upon every object that pulls that object towards the Earth. Anyone can test this theory by dropping any object to see if it falls to the earth or not. Since every object that is dropped by any person has the same result, this is what we would call a scientific fact. But that doesn't mean that is the end. In fact it raises much more questions that science is still looking for about this force. But again, that is the make of science. X is a scientific fact until more information is discovered that will give us a different answer. Earth is flat... Actually it is round... Actually it is an elongated spheroid slightly wider at the equator. All scientific facts based on specific times in our according knowledge timeline. Etc etc.>> <<@emojidinosaur7300 says : lol poor girl never heard of the philosophy of science. studying the philosophy of science will throw you for a loop. That is a fact.>> <<@wftxidiot6518 says : Dr. Turek... I am a total believer. I have a question that I want to ask, I want to discuss but, I can't ask or discuss it. I believe it's a test from GOD of my will to not. How do I reconcile this??🙏❤️🧐😁>> <<@MMCUSN says : She is not willing to come to the realization that the fact of Creation can be supported by scientific investigation. There are many many evidences for the Creation brought forth by the Word of God in the Bible. God stretching the Heavens is mentioned 17 times. The KJV was done in 1611, what did they know about the expansion of space then or before then? Many of these young people asking these questions would do well to read the Bible for themselves and not rely on some bias lies made up to deter people from the Lord. Then look at the many Geologists in the field pointing out formations that can not be explained other than by a massive world wide flood.>> <<@vox.clamantis.in.deserto says : "You showed stars, that's astrologically proven" let us all ponder the depth of this thought. Not to mention, giving names to children is now "social science" somehow. Because people name their children using the scientific method. This is what you get with scientism.>> <<@AjCzeresko says : Evidence doesn't come from fact. Fact comes from evidence. "His shirt is blue" is a fact be we observe a wave of light being reflected from it to our eyes. Facts can only be statements of reality, not the reality itself. That would be evidence.>> <<@litigioussociety4249 says : Good to question what she means by science. The word just means knowledge. A lot of people associate it with something that is determined through the scientific method. Then there are people who say things like science is Dr. Anthony Fauci.>> <<@keyman6689 says : Does she mix atheism with science?>> <<@KEW-pd1jn says : We have evidence that proves there are entire lost civilization in existence… but all of the evidence that could prove how to understand/explain that there was a civilization, has been completely erased from history. Science understands that something was there, yet they can’t really see enough evidence to prove it. However, if you searched independently amongst the modern locals, they would be able to provide a closer view into the actual missing history. Rather than relying on an outsiders perspective about what possibly happened.>> <<@potatoxgaming9466 says : Fact back up by science? Then what do we based science on??>> <<@uknownacbm says : She believes that Science is separate from God and the two can’t mix. Like frank says “Science doesn’t say anything, Scientists do.”>> <<@sethjudkins4229 says : Christ did do that. Lol>> <<@everettnowack182 says : He is a professional debater. He wants to use "science" because the scripture isn't enough. Plus the "fact" that he can't demonstrate the supposed power of god.>> <<@TROY31688 says : God will reveal himself if you want him to. Most don't>> <<@mharzmhason1787 says : But what she's saying is not scientifically verifiable nor cannot be proven by science.>> <<@howardrichburg2398 says : Science: "the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained:" . A Bing search for the definition. Notice no mention of religion. People believe in science like it is a religion. It is just a way to understand how the physical world works. Using facts derived from scientific observation and experiment to explain the existence of GOD should be no problem to a thinking person. How else would we prove He exists?>>
