<<@EPIKZOMBIESLAYAH says : What a beautifully German design that folder is, incredible really a wonderful combo of functional, beautiful art, a menacing presence and at the same time non threatening in a way if presented as so cause of it's practical purpose it serves in many real world applications, just awesome great work>> <<@Durtdurdur says : This Dude Is A Genius Nothing Short>> <<@SolomonKane-s5h says : 2:54 It took a minute but I am sold on the fixed version. I love it.>> <<@Poitisan says : Real cool design, the folding version looks functional! (and wicked mean for some reason...) I'd have to grind the tip round for mine, though. With that point I'd be afraid of ruining my pockets even faster than I already do...>> <<@tummytub1161 says : That's one of the most awesome and probably genius handle designs I've seen so far. The box cutter is especially practical for use in packaging!>> <<@shonkyboy says : Best laugh on the internet>> <<@jadintenax226 says : I love it, really Out of the Box thinking that comes with very appealing possibilities and aesthetics.>> <<@jasonkane1436 says : Love all your content my friend you are truly a genius in many fields and of course completely bonkers keep up the most excellent work! Hi from Ireland county Sligo! Would love to hang out with you and have a beer!>> <<@thehazelnutspread says : Looks like a Raptor's claw...........NICE>> <<@JoeZelensky says : Absolute genius as always. I may have to get one just out of appreciation for the work put into it.>> <<@pipistrellus.pipistrellus3356 says : How on Earth would one sharpen that?>> <<@EliotHochberg says : For the flip out version, where is the sharp edge of the blade? Is it the curving portion? Or the straight portion? Because if it’s a straight portion, I don’t think folding really does much good. But that’s the side that you think would want to have sharp? But then it’s the curving side, it doesn’t seem like a super effective blade. I would think you’d be better off having a talon when you fold it clear the underside of a finger loops but still be a continuous curve, instead of bumping up and down like that.>> <<@EliotHochberg says : It seems a shame that you couldn’t have this fit any arbitrary hand, somehow, and it makes me wonder if there are other solutions One thing I thought of is, could you have some kind of a flexible material that would go between the main knife, your fingers and the spike? This actually could in theory be a solution for people who don’t have four fingers. Not something that’s very common, but I imagine relatively frequent for folks who would be interested in such a thing. The other thought I had was, is there a way to make the Finger bands modular? In other words, have it so that they can slide into each other, and then be fastened with some kind of a screw, or a collar, etc., and then have them like ring sizes so that you would measure each of your fingers, and then get the loop that fit each finger? I just kind of feel like they are going to be plenty of issues even with just having three sizes, it’s not going to be enough. A modification of the first idea would be that the blade and the stud at the back both extend under the finger, to give a consistent place to really hold on, and then they transition into a durable, flexible material that can be sized. I guess what I would suggest a test. This would be to get some strong rope or cord and then see whether or not it has the same performance value when in use. If it did, then ideally the best way to implement would be to have some kind of a clamp mechanism at either end, and then you can cut the cord, rope, carbon, fiber, flexible, material, or some kind of metal, flexible material, and have it be precisely sized to your hand, and that way it could fit anybody.>> <<@peterfinster4772 says : Alter is das geil😍 du bist echt der Wahnsinn>> <<@Grayday117 says : Make the handle two separate pieces with spacers allowing space for the blade to pass through it when in the closed position so you can make any blade shapes you want instead of having to conform around the finger grooves! Please hire me.>> <<@dantimony4722 says : It looks like an elephant with a long trunk>> <<@ohwhatfunitistowalk says : Very good! Excellent, as you say, in a melee. Please let us know when they're for sale.>> <<@HarryBallsich says : Not a fan of the design. It looks overly goofy. What are you cutting with that. It looks impractical. It's a niche product. Sorry to be so harsh but it's design looks like it's a ninja weapon you'd buy at a shopping mall.>> <<@robertperren1684 says : Very interesting>> <<@eachday9538 says : Can imagine Joerg just going about his daily business with that thing on his hand>> <<@josephle2155 says : I’d delete the hump in the blade>> <<@tobywebb2112 says : I said it in the last two comments sections of the last two videos and I'll say it in this one again. I think that the middle finger Ridge needs to be higher or the lower Loops of the first finger and ring finger need to be lower so that your fingers can match each other. I will keep you from breaking your fingers in case you miss and hit only with the ends of your knuckles on your fingers instead of with the ring or your actual knuckles. It would also simply look better and function better overall being as your hand won't be forced into an unnatural position anymore. Not everyone has hands as meaty as yours and we can't afford that sort of tolerances that you seem to be able to>> <<@comfortablynumb9342 says : I'll take the fixed and folding versions, in large.>> <<@AnimeVampire234 says : ohh... i love that you have made multiple sizes for people, but that folding knife... idk about that blade what would you even be able to do with that?? it's very not practical and i think it should just be a large crescent shape... the little empty space could be like... a feature when putting away the knife like say it clamps onto some sort of bumper so it doesn't dull the blade and like folds close like a wallet. dunno if that made any sense but i hope ya know what i mean.>> <<@fritzyberger says : I absolutely love watching you prototype tools. I had so much fun watching you build that magazine for the bows>> <<@woolfwoolf says : I love the look of the twisted folding knife. Overall I think this knife design, with the interwoven fingers is a great box cutter design, would be great for working with all types of plants, working with carpet and roofing.>> <<@DaCheapChimp says : Cool i like it>> <<@SteveJohnson007 says : Take my money!>> <<@Shiover says : Дааа, точить запаришься складной. : />> <<@paullmight42 says : hate to be the bearer of bad news but...there is already a fixed one of these on the market....Amare 6 Finger Fixed Blade>> <<@averry23 says : *The “AH AH AH” is him coming to a sudden realization that his folding version would be an absolute nightmare to sharpen, which would terrify knife lovers. As he chuckled I started screaming in cracked whetstone.*>> <<@unice5656 says : If it folds in, doesn't that mean you can add a blade on the other side without worrying about sheaths?>> <<@foresttaniguchi3168 says : Why not just buy a knuckle duster?>> <<@diggoran says : I think for the folding knife, a straight blade that is only sharp near the point could fold safely into the finger weave a bit if you widened the weave and left a slot for it. The dull end of the knife close to the hinge would pass through the weave a bit, and it would actually give a convenient pressing point for opening the knife. The point of the knife could tuck into the "pommel (?)" area at the back when closed, preventing the sharp tip from staying exposed when folded. Your current design might protect you from the cutting edge when closed, but it could still give you a shallow but unpleasant stab if you pressed something soft (like skin) into the pommel area, or if you reached for it in your pocket and slid your hand along the pommel tip.>> <<@jacobsmith1818 says : Make the handles interchangeable with a couple screws in the ricaso of the blade>> <<@desertrance says : I love the Blade shape! Masterpiece! Well done exciting work!!>> <<@Spagyr says : If you fall it could be more dangerous than a traditional knife, Probably been brought up by someone.>> <<@rickandhisguitar says : Looks cool like your videos>> <<@neale6144 says : You are really on to something with that box cutter.>> <<@joshalmightyblades says : Hmm... 🤔>> <<@coolfreaks68 says : awesome.>> <<@xzendon says : I bet you could offset the squiggles side to side a bit so that a normal blade profile could rest between them.>> <<@14845445 says : bei dem schwarzen aus holz musst du noch ein auge drauf malen, dann sieht es aus wie der kopf und schnabel von nem rabe oder tukan oder sonem vogel 🐦🤣>> <<@noahglenn8305 says : I would buy one Edit: a fixed blade design>> <<@parfumeurmanasse says : Maybe you will specify glove sizes when selling. Then everyone can easily orient themselves, which one will fit. Vielleicht gebt Ihr beim Verkauf Handschuhgrößen an. Dann kann jeder sich leicht orientieren, welches passen wird.>> <<@killerbunny7206 says : You could one that only uses 3 fingers, so it's smaller and just a curved blade with one curve. You would also have a bit of a push dagger thing then.>> <<@BMO_Creative says : Why not make the handle flexible? That way one size can fit all?>> <<@dorkamhi9166 says : I have an idea for the folding knife, no expert so keep that in mind. Could you have a slit in the handle so the blade can can rest inside the handle? That way the blade could be straight.>> <<@Zaxnafein says : Interesting>> <<@sriramsridhara2054 says : As cool as this is. The obvious thought just came to me. Why not put a ring on the handle of a regular knife, that way you can let go your hand without the knife dropping. The ring will go on at least 1 of the four non thumb fingers and will serve the purpose of keeping the knife attached to the hand.>>
