The old testament is the way pointer/profetie towards the Christ, the New testament is the fulfilment and revelation of the Christ and the fulfilment of the old testament, non of the old or the new is written to us or for us, you can read tis for yourself, the Christ talks towards the ones standing infront of him, no reference ever towards us, nevertheless the total outcome of the old and new was the totally doing away with stone tempel and priest class and the instalment of the non fisical heavenly system for all mankind, we are all saved if we want to be, no need of any tempel or priest, the tempel is in your hart and mind, the heavenly jerusalem is the unseen kingdom accessible for all! Have a good look at the Emanuel Swedenborg material and also a indepth study of ytchanel NewKosmos videocast!

The only revelation mankind needs to know is that God sent his only son, who was without sin, to be a sacrifice as an atonement for mankind’s sin. For the atonement of sin is death, and Jesus was a sinless man who was not required to pay for those sins with death, but did to forgive the atonement of mankind’s sins so we could have ever lasting life.

We need to understand that GOD may give us a personal revelation from within His word...the Bible. GOD is not giving any "new" authoritative revelation for all people that could be added as equivalent to the Bible. The Bible is GODS FINAL WORD.

He helps us to understand his word. He reveals new insight into his word that helps us understand context and more. I testify that God showed me where the Tanak was stored in heaven for example, in a dream, to show me it is perfect and holy. I testify that the Lord has given me prophecy that has saved peoples lives, and when he took life in more than one instance. I've witnessed two miraculous healings verified by doctors. So God is still active today. But he will never contradict his holy word because hes not confused. The revealtion of new truth in life is the gift of the Holy Spirit as promised in the Bible. Revealing all truth.

Miracles stopped after the Apostles. Today we have what I would call providence, the protective care of God or those times when God makes things work together for your good every day and you erroneosly call it a miracle. Miracles were nature defying during the time of the Apostles, like raising people from the dead, healing sickness and walking on water. None of those nature defying miracles have happened since the Apostolic times and dont get fooled by the con-artist "healing" preachers. Those "sick" people you see getting "healed" were never sick to begin with, doctor's certificates are fraudulent and paid for by the con-srtist preachers and growing legs is an old magicians trick which you can learn to do yourself. There are videos on the internet that teach you how to do these tricks like the false prophet Benny Hinn does at his "healing" money-making rallies.

Let's make a difference between the revelation of God, as a God who wasn't known before, and the revelation given to each believer which is the understanding to each individual mind about what is already revealed in the literal form and/or sense. Example, Jesus said to Peter "Flesh as not revealed this to you Peter, but God". See, the difference between God revealing himself as real, and then his nature, versus the revelation of the things written or said to the mind or the heart of the individual.

John 14:12 - Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. Miracles do happen every day. It depends on your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Move in His will and you will do great works.

This can be very challenged in the book of John at the end it says Jesus did many other things that were not written in this book... 1st John 4 17 says Jesus is so are we in this world.... Definitely could get New Revelations depending what he means by Revelations

Unfortunately, you need to extract or ignore about 90% of the current revelation given in the gospels and epistles to come to this conclusion. Miracles never ceased because God never ceased and He is always the same. He's always looking for those men and women who will defy the current culture of unbelief and, by faith connect to Him so He can show Himself strong on the behalf of the poor and needy.

I believe God still overtly intervenes in people's lives, miraculously. It may be through Guardian Angeles, but also through His own direct actions. I fully believe that He has literally grabbed a person and moved them to another position, by His own hand, in order to save them from harm. In doing these acts, He certainly asserts His will, but when people can actually perceive His presence in this tangible way, He also reveals Himself to them in an incredibly powerful way. I'd go as far to say that all miracles are a form of revelation. I can understand that some people may believe that God no longer exercises His providence in the form of miraculous intervention. Perhaps they have begged God to give them an unmistakable sign or revelation and have not received something they can perceive. To expect God to act like Santa Claus or a magic Jenie, who responds to YOUR will, is reductive. To think God no longer exercises his will in a way people can perceive, is also reductive. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Thy = God, not us. Blessed are those who have encountered his grace in a miraculous way, but it's by His will, and to accomplish His purposes.

You just stated Abraham was around 2000 BC. This would mean the pyramids were already built when Moses was in Egypt. You make up scripture, translate the word of your lord, in your words, which not only shows the ego you carry, but the narcissistic nature which has corrupted you. You don't find it odd that a text on how to find eternal salvation carries the need for human translation. Only the human soul on the line, makes sense to write things up for interpretation. I'll pray for you

That's why these days I dont easily believe when church leaders or someone told me "God spoke to me" regarding any issues. Personally for me if I ",hear something in my thoughts regarding some matters" like giving thanks to God for an answered prayer, I wouldn't straight away say God spoke to me but rather God has given us a mind as Christians to think n reasons without the need for him to speak to us all the time.
