And unlike today, back in the day since everyone basically wore long robes, and undergarments, sanitary pads or even antibacterial soaps even weren't really a thing, if men and women exchanged clothes they would indirectly be exchanging seminal and vaginal fluid and also menstrual cycle fluids between each other on a microscopic level at least. And since God sees even that, it is abominable to him. I mean, even Nowadays no one would wear at the very least their partners clothes which contain menstrual blood or semen on it right?
