If I'm guilty and I own up to my sins... then God did forgive ME for doing this things. If I blame devil and everyone/everything, what did God actually forgive me for? Why Jesus died for MY sins, if I'm not to be blamed? Devil wants the spotlight in your life - do not give it to him, do not focus on blaming him for what YOU did. God loves YOU and He forgave YOU! Hopefully this makes sense. God bless! :)

As satan is a mythical character in an ancient book of fairy tales and 'sin' - defined as that which is offensive to a god or gods - is not any more real than the claimed gods in those same fairy tales you might as well ask ..'does Darth Vader make you turn to the dark side of the force?' with just as much justification and real world validity.

There is no literal"Satan" you are teaching in error. The scriptures do not profess a literal being called Satan. Sccripture teaches that evil inclanations or desires come from within man. The word translated as "evil" is the Greek word ponera. This term not only implies evil, but a sense of drudgery, labor, and effort. Mankind is not just immoral, we work hard at being immoral! And, a life of sin is a hard life (John 10:10; Isaiah 14:3; Matthew 11:28). Stop teaching an error.

Can u please make a video on Samson? He seems to me like an ancient barbaric hero of pagans rather than a servant of Jehovah. In Judges 14 he tells an illogical riddle which had nothing to do with General knowledge or logic but connected only to his own personal experience about which noone knew. His intention was clear. He wanted to punish them with a weak allibi. But they also cheated and solved it. Now he went and killed 31 Ashkelons for no reason. Just to get clothes. Then he caught innocent foxes, tied fire on their tails (obviously those foxes got hurt) and he let them burn the fields of Philistines for no reason except his revenge and ego. Chapter 1 vs 7 says so. Then he went to a cave and slaughtered many of them. Then again he killed1000 with a donkey jaw bone for no apparent reason except for hate and ego. His character was also not good. He was married but he went to prostitute. Then again he fell in love with Delilah. Last, he killed the Philistines not coz they were God haters but for his own revenge (Judges 16:28). Please make a video on this. Thank you

You might be aware of Dr. Michael Heiser’s book “The Unseen Realm”. If not, please check it out for a interesting study. With this as my background for my question: Where in scripture does it say Satan either is or isn’t omniscient? I can’t find it. What I do find is Psalm 82:1 God has taken His place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgement: Notice the scripture (ESV) says “.. in the midst of the gods (plural) he holds judgement.” That implies more than one god. They are lesser gods but gods nevertheless. Why? Because the Holy scripture says so. The difference is we are commanded to worship only the YAHWEH God. Why did YAHWEH command this? Because the lesser gods were/are capable of sin. The word satan translated from Hebrew means “adversary”, which the lesser gods are also capable of. Job describes the Adversary as (paraphrasing) going to and fro and up and down upon the earth. Yet it was conversing with Yahweh concurrently. Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness yet it was able to transliterate to Jerusalem where it tempted Jesus to jump off the tower. I could give more examples but this is enough for me.

It's interesting to me that Christians can understand this subject, yet totally botch the sons of God and Genesis chapter 6. Genesis chapter 6 is a classic case of "the devil made me do it." Many fine Christians believe sons of God are bad Angels who mingled, or should I say, had sex with, human women and created a disobedient breed. These people now have the "excuse" that it's not them who sins but rather the devil made me do it. I believe no man has any excuse for HIS sin. It's about personal accountability. But the good news is that God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Amen, glory to God !!

Why is "the devil made me do it" not a valid excuse? The first instance of “the devil made me do it” used as an excuse was in the Garden of Eden. Eve says, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate” (Genesis 3:13). Her excuse did not get her off the hook (verse 16), and it won’t help us much, either. Yes, the devil and his demons tempt us to sin (Genesis 3; Luke 4; 1 Peter 5:8). But “the devil made me do it” is far too often used to excuse our own bad choices. Except in an instance of demon possession, the devil cannot make us do anything. The devil is absolutely worthy of blame for much of the evil in the world, but using the devil as a scapegoat for our own sinful choices is counterproductive to achieving victory over sin. Demon possession is a condition in which a demon or demons have complete control over a person. Demon possession involves demons actually inhabiting a person and controlling his or her actions (see Mark 9:22). Christians cannot be demon possessed. The indwelling Holy Spirit will not allow it (Romans 8:9; Ephesians 5:18). Therefore, the devil and his demons cannot control a believer. They cannot make us do anything involuntarily. So, rather than blame the devil, we need to look at ourselves. James 1:14 declares, “Each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire” (emphasis added). Why do we sin? We sin because we are sinners. We are plagued by and infected with sin (Romans 3:10-23). While demonic oppression and influence are real, the primary problem is our sinful natures. “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these” (Galatians 5:19-21). Notice, it’s the “works of the flesh” in this list, not the works of the devil. As Christians, we have the indwelling Holy Spirit to help us overcome sin (1 John 4:4). We have everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). If we sin, we have no excuse. We cannot blame the devil. We cannot blame our circumstances. We can only blame ourselves. And, until we recognize that the problem resides within us (Romans 7:20), we will never arrive at the solution. It may sound harsh to tell someone that the problem is himself and his own choices. But it’s no harsher than a doctor telling a patient to quit smoking and that the tobacco company is not to blame for his poor health. To find a cure, you have to start with a correct diagnosis and then move to the correct treatment. The correct diagnosis is sin. The treatment is to submit to God and obey His Word. God can enable us to achieve victory over sin (Romans 7:24-25; 1 John 5:3-5). If you are a Christian and you commit a sin, the devil did not make you do it. He may have tempted you to do it. He may have even influenced you to do it. But he did not make you do it. You still had a choice. God never allows you to be tempted beyond your ability to withstand, and He always provides a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). A Christian saying “the devil made me do it” is denying the truth of 1 John 4:4, “Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”
