My mind is constantly filled with an uncontrollable whirlwind of my thoughts debating each other. I will randomly think of any topic and i will debate myself from every possible perspective and stance. I constantly change my own mind about things because one of my subconscious voices will give me a certain perspective or deduction or idea that my conscious self never thought about. My subconscious thoughts break every last one of my conscious thoughts down to its core, “why do i believe that”, “how do i know thats true”, “its subjective there is no right answer”. My brain does all of this and abunch of other similarly weird things all at the same time at all times. It feels like i cant control my own thoughts sometimes. Is this normal? Is this ADHD? Is this schizophrenia?

I emphatically disagree. With great discipline and inate compassion we can resist, although... Good or bad, you will create the conditions in your life for the thoughts to be enacted apon. ie, I'll begotten thoughts beget conditions for them to manifest. If you think to hurt, then a reason to do so will happen. (Choose your friends wisely and stay away from the misaligned.) Interestingly and very concerningly, looking at the state of our physical world you have to wonder about the state of our global consciousness. (May all beings be happy. May all beings be joyful. May all beings have peace.) Universal Sovereign Citizen

I was diagnosed with Autism, BPD & ADHD at my current age. I'm either stuck in my head fantasizing about things I know are irrational or not in my character (or would rather ignore that part of my character, as its seen as a flaw), or thinking about any topic that rushes through my mind & picking it apart to its core. I find people either have an immediate distaste for me, or see me as a sweet person who is over-generous & kinda weird. I've watched as many psychology documentaries & read books on serial killers I could since I was 11. I became interested in what could possibly be so wrong with myself; I'd been self aware from a very young age that I wasn't fitting in or like the other kids I grew up around. I found the negative qualities of myself never went away with age.. The struggles to connect my head to schoolwork, the issues with authority due to harassment from previous authority figures that did not like me whatsoever, & lack of socializing would lead me to a bad spot in life. Some people even said they though I was the type to be like the people I always read about. I almost believed them at a point. However, I've always admired common sense & found it to be a rare trait that is in desperate need of a comeback. I hold it close to me. It keeps me tuned into reality & has for years.

It's really weird for me to stumble upon this short today. Erie even. Since my early twenties I have periodically been struggling with insomnia. And during those periods when I can't fall asleep, my mind goes to some really dark places. Filling my head with selfloathing and sometimes even suicidal thoughts. It frightens me quite a bit to be honest. This last week has been rough, or the nights at least. But last night I did something. Instead of laying in bed taking a beating and listen to my mind telling me to off myself, I got up. I had distaned myself from those kind of thoughts along time ago, so I went to action. I grabbed my climbing bag. Got a length of rope and started to tie a noose. I took my time with it. I wanted it to be perfect. I wasn't upset during this. I was focused. And when the noose was done I held it up Infront of my face and out loud I said: "See, I got the skill and power to kill myself, but I choose to live." I undid to noose, repacked my climbing bag and went to bed. I had the best night of sleep. I woke up this morning and i felt sooooo fresh, powerful even. And then stumble upon this... Like something is trying to tell me something.

It is sad that critical thinking is not commonly taught by parents. Universities are not the only influencers of people. I have been guilty myself. At this intersection of my life i am learning the importance. of critical thinking. It is very challenging. At 67 years of age i wish i had been taught these truths in my early years. It would have saved me from many poor choices. And possibly, i could have introduced these ways of deep thinking to others.

Throughout the years being a contractor and having my father assist me. He would often ask me who are you talking while I was working and in a way tell my mother! What he did understand is that I would have to rebuke the thoughts of evil that would plague my mind. The reason for this such anger was because of the severity and broken relationship we’re my ex kidnapped my son and was on the run for a better part of 5 years. The sheer magnitude of suffering that I was being put through challenged my mental state of mind the point were I had to make a chose to be a Godly man or quite possibly a murder! Consequently I have chosen to be a Godly man. To retain my sanity I would pray to God and most of life. By first acknowledging the such evil then I would talk to myself rebunking the very sinful and evil thoughts to regain my faith! The adage of praying for the forgiveness of sins before those sins consume and immediately debunk all evil!!!
