A few years ago I did 18:6 and loved it…I just got in that habit. I did that for 18 months…I just started 7 days ago after getting sloppy with my food again and so excited and grateful. I’m already feeling better. A couple months ago I stopped with nasty baked goods and most sweets…started eating more leafy greens and fruits. I think that makes a huge difference for going into 18:6

Waw! It’s wild to think that Muslims have been observing these exact fasting patterns for centuries, yet it took the practice becoming a modern health trend for researchers to seriously explore its benefits. It underscores a key problem: we often fail to scientifically validate or even acknowledge a beneficial practice when it's associated with a specific religion, dismissing it out of hand until it's given a secular name.

pasturization and stripping nutrients - such as fiber was all for shelf-life -- aka commercialization. makes it last longer to make the trip to the store and give it shelf life. add that stuff back in - and the food spoils quicker - companies cant make huge profits throwing away half the food - so ... there you go.
>>
<<@mudman7618
says :
so, I 've never thought of this until now - but if fasting heals cells by pushing out whatever isn't contributing, is that why then, when we are sick ... we are not hungry? does say, the flu, cause us to fast - so that our body can fight it better?

Women were designed to be ABLE to procreate. Not MADE to procreate. A subtle distinction. Also, I’ve seen the world go from a population of 2 billion when I was 10 years old to almost 9 billion as I hit 72. That is a grotesque population growth in a tiny period of time, in which we have as a species, through both greed and necessity, caused a massive extinction of tens of thousands of species. I believe the drop in fertility and the drop in desire to have children in the first place may come from a deep connection to the Earth’s needs itself for humans to stop their destructive rant across this planet.

38:00 I use to raise dairy goats (Nubian) and milk twice a day (by hand).. I drank a quart (+) of raw milk every day and never felt better.. Never got sick with colds or flu.. The physical labor to grow feed and care for them was high, but the rewards were amazing in many ways.. It was the healthiest period of my life.. Had to sell the herd but it was a fantastic period in my life. Some states are illegal to sell raw milk, so unless you find a local farmer willing to give it to you, it might be difficult to find..

You have to help your body eating his own fat. Do you want to feed your fat, or do you want to nourish the body? Do you want to sleep well or not? Do you want to feel good or bad? Do you want to play with your grandson or not? Do you want to have a clear mind or not? Do you wanna be proud of yourself looking in the mirror in the morning or not? Do you want to feed you worse than your dog? Do you feed yourself worse than your car? You want to close your shoes without losing your breath? You want to eat food or things, products with a barcode? Do you want to be proud of yourself and treat yourself with respect, or do you want to complain later because you've fed your body junk your whole life?

Fasting is a great tool but we also have to remember that when we eat we should consume a variety of nutrient dense foods preferably whole food plant based. Meat is one of the most processed toxic foods we can consume. Been WFPB for over 8 yrs and have kept my weight down. My cystic acne totally went away. My anxiety and hot flashes, gone. Not all carbs are the same in the vegetable world. And you can still go into ketosis while not eating meat. I love the variety of foods I can eat and how much energy I have. I rarely eat processed carbs. Occasionally I'll have sprouted bread, keto tortillas, or high protein pasta. I had to learn about good carbs and bad carbs. blessings to y'all and your health journey.

I’ve learned so much good comes from fasting. I’m gradually increasing my fasting to 23 hours per day. I eat at 9:00 am everyday. Another thing I found for myself is that eating turkey with cranberries, potatoes and carrots makes me satisfied for 23 hours. I have to decrease the portion I eat, because I fill a plate full. I’ll try eating half a plate. Also I take a multivitamin. I drink lots of plain tea. Hot water and loose tea only.
