Stay brainwashed.>> <<@mechaishida7588 says : This is similar to how the Christian Cults operate, mainly the likes of SDA, JW, Mormons, but also very odd branches like Hebrew Roots etc. As someone who was an Seventh Day Adventist for three years, the level of indoctrination is frightening; they only delve into The Bible in groups, or on Zoom meetings, or during Hope TV broadcasts, and all that is discussed is usually doctrine reaffirmation. Any critical thinking and objective scrutiny of scripture is met with the ‘oh dear’ face, and a quick return to the narrative. I’m grateful that I had that experience though, as I did learn a lot about historical events in the Old Testament, and developed some level of Bible study discipline.
