If we go back a little, in the late 80s there was some civil unrest in Zim and many lives were lost in Matebeland. The affected were native Ndebele. The West did nothing about it because they babies were safe. Then came the turn of the millennium, a handful of white were injured and they placed restrictions on the country and their leaders under the name of "targeted sanctions" simply because their brothers lost the land.
