I think that is already being done. I believe finding a healthy diet is not easy. I need someone to design me one. But I am not the average adutl. I know I need at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. I live in a very hot climate and I am not walking outside my house. I know I need to eath healthy. For this to be done and be effective I would need to see a nutrishonist and go to the gym. Now, I see that healthcare companies like Humana have plans that pay for gym memberships. I am on disability and cannot afford any extras in my budget. These helth plans are a great way to get us healthy. Not all people today can afford to pay for the gym membership. I have never been referred to a nutrishonist except when I was confined to the hospital. There is too much information out there that points us in the wrong directions. This was a great lecture just not sure how practical it is to me.>> <<@mdeodar says : Would consider joining the Daily Wire if it wasn't started and owned by the jackass who helped Joe Biden get elected in 2020.>> <<@thegermanceo says : Facts! When I don't eat carbs I don't crave them AT ALL and its so easy to maintain that diet and feel good + keeping the weight off. But as soon as It start to introduce a little carb, let it be one spoon of my boyfriends pasta, BOOM I start craving them. Over the time of falling off and staying on track with that issue, I just figured for myself and finally came to the realization.. that I am better off with no carbs at all. I have a few berries sometimes but even then I start craving more, which never happens to me with any type of food that has a net of 0 carb to it.>> <<@philbrunney3895 says : Great information but it seems to me a great disservice to those listening by not adding a spiritual component to complete health! We are mind , body and spirit and for those who are lost there is no greater source of comfort and peace than in know the Lord!>> <<@Goldenproductionsemc says : Take Responsibility for Your Own Health As I’ve gotten older, I decided to educate myself about human health. The amount of information available on the internet today is incredible—provided we listen to a range of independent viewpoints and seek the truth along the way. However, algorithms on platforms like YouTube are designed to show us content that aligns with our existing beliefs. If we only search for information that reinforces our preconceived ideas, we may not get a well-rounded perspective. That said, I believe most of us recognize the truth when we find it. I first started diving into health research around the beginning of COVID, when it became nearly impossible to get a doctor’s appointment—let alone navigate the wildly differing opinions on the pandemic. Eventually, I found a lifestyle that works for me: the carnivore diet. However, that’s not the main point I want to make today. My key message is this: take responsibility for your own health. Too many of us rely too heavily on doctors. While most doctors are brilliant people who genuinely want to help, they can’t fix everything. Their knowledge is largely based on what they were taught in university, and after that, much of their continuing education comes from pharmaceutical sales representatives. As a result, their role often becomes one of prescribing medications rather than addressing root causes. But we, as patients, are also to blame—many of us want quick fixes in our fast-paced world, preferring a pill over a lifestyle change. Years ago, even a mild cold would turn into a chest infection for me, requiring a trip to the doctor for antibiotics. I remember being shocked when I asked my doctor whether I should change my diet to improve my health, and he told me it didn’t matter. Looking back, I realize he had been taught this misinformation in medical school and understandably believed it. I was wrong to expect him to know much about nutrition because, as I’ve recently learned, only 2% to 4% of a doctor’s training covers nutrition. I believe this is one of the main reasons we have such a sick population today. Recent studies have shown that processed foods are just as harmful as tobacco. While tobacco advertising has been banned, processed foods continue to be heavily marketed. Mainstream media and television programs rarely discuss this because major food corporations fund them through advertising. We need to wake up! To close, I urge you to educate yourself—the internet makes it easier than ever to do so. And as much as possible, stay away from doctors and hospitals. By taking control of your health, you’ll not only improve your own well-being but also help ensure that those who genuinely need medical care can receive better treatment.>> <<@oceanic815___7 says : I'm very early in my transformation, I have about 30lbs to lose and since February I have lost 13lbs. Watching these videos and others has took me initially, intermittent fasting (16-18) hours, calorie deficit, stopping eating 2 hours before bed, eating more protein, and exercising 2/3 a week, a mixture of weight lifting in home gym set up and hiking/walking. My Goal so far is to lose the weight, and improve my overall fitness and muscle gain whilst doing it. The goal afterward will be to focus MORE on muscle gain, increased cardiovascular health and MORE protein focus with a keeness to have LESS carbohydrates, after this, it will be to maintain and FOCUS on the food I am eating, prioritising quality food, protei , fats and minimal carbohydrates. Good luck everyone on your journey. Say no to the corporate mainstream, keep God close to yourselves :)>> <<@Why-p6i says : So much great information. I would love to see his note book. It's funny how Mr. Peterson doesn't distinguish between the "Standard American Diet" (also known as the "Western Pattern Diet") and the "Dietary guidelines for Americans" that is published by the USDA. The "Standard American Diet" is basically the opposite of what the USDA recommends. Eighty percent of Americans don't follow the USDA recommendations.
