Cause & effect is one of the order of nature, of this universe. But at the BB, all laws of nature we know of breaks down. So we can't tell what was before the current laws of nature. Other religions point to Jesus, but Jesus doesn’t point to them because what Jesus said was true. There is no universalism here. It’s quite simply Jesus or hell, and it’s a miracle how there are so many paths to Jesus and none away from Jesus. Jesus, who was born in the lowest place of society, had the greatest impact across human history in just 3 years. If what He said wasn’t true, what would His motives be for lying and why would the apostles say a man who was supposed to be dead is the king of the earth? They had no social reason to do so. They were kicked out of the synagogues and martyred for saying that Jesus is king. Everything about the Bible from outside of it, from science, the mathematical probability, to the historical impact of it, says there is a God who cares for this world. That He wants you to find Him and even says it’s foolish to deny Him because without Him this life is meaningless. You could own the world and have nothing if you don’t have God.
