And if they already had the base of the Nest Hub Max, why not just put the magnetic hook up on that same base as a price saving method?????? Google acts like the stupidest tech company on the planet so many times. How could they not have thought of this??? However, to be fair, you're wrong about the other apps that you say are still "phone apps" because they don't take up the entire screen. There is a setting you can activate to make ALL APPS take up the entire screen when in landscape mode. So that's at least nice. My entire purpose for getting this, was to have a better Smart Home Hub Max, that can do MUCH MORE than the Hub Max. And for the most part I got that. I also got an open box deal on Ebay, where I purchased the 256gb version for less than $300. Therefore, I've come out ahead. It's the perfect writer deck on the go for me. Slim and solid, just amazing. I was so heartbroken they abandoned it. Before that I had the Samsung 12" tablet with a keyboard too, I made some great music in Caustic with it. I tried to update the OS and it crapped out and bricked itself, so the Pixel C was welcomed and it's perfect. I am here because I was looking up the Pixel C on YT to see if anyone's updated it because I'm ready to get mine going again. I don't like to rotate the tablet because personally when I use those types of devices I usually use them horizontally daily but unfortunately the one I use does not have those adaptations I even had the same Android 13 also stock but more trimmed and I say that it is very lacking in functions and It is ridiculous because it has helio g99 as a processor because it can handle various functions perfectly and it does not offer me any Android system updates and I want to change my tablet for the Google Pixel tablet even though it is also pure Android, it offers much more news and it is 100% complete compared to my current tablet that does not even offer many security functions and I cannot fully enjoy that software, even my old smartphone Huawei P30 Lite offered me more functions with Emui 12 and it had an older version android>> <<@CassiniA312 says : I hope that they at least keep up with this "dock" and that they don't decide to change it in the future so that you will need to buy a whole new extra one again>>
