Tom, I have been a fan of yours since discovering you at a live event in Salt Lake City many years ago. Something that I have not heard you address, that I would be very interested in learning your thoughts about, would be moral philosophy. As a Voluntaryist, your guest who is most similar in worldview to me is Robert Breedlove. Most of your conversations have been about cryptocurrency, and I would be interested in your perspectives about whether pragmatically centrally planning human individual's futures, of course by "the smartest" "experts," is morally proper. Most of your thinking appears from the outside to be based on a foundation that I would enjoy observing you challenge. That challenge is that some people, the smart ones, ought to manage society. I think we are in complete agreement but the dentist 80% of humanity is pretty dumb, as humorously demonstrated in this sad comedy documentary, Idiocracy. Recognizing that most people are pretty stupid, I still am not persuaded that the smart, wealthy and powerful top part of society ought to organize and rule over everyone else, even if it is done because we think we are helping people live better lives.

I find Tom's idea of exploring fictitious hallucinations instead of reality to be so profoundly disgusting and appalling and also quite frankly to be missing the fundamental breakthrough of DLT: mathematically provable honesty. Tom, look into the game Scorn, that's about your idea of exploring fictitious hallucinations, or the Matrix. Would you really take the blue pill? Absurd if true.

People need to learn there’s a difference between conservative who seek to conserve the principles & institutions of liberal democracy which includes freedom of belief which is why there’s a lot of conservative religious believers that vote with them so they can continue to both practice & proselytise their beliefs, and conservative religious believers who don’t want to conserve liberal democracy because they seek to replace it with their version of theocracy. Keeps using Hillary as a example but obviously forgets she called Trump illegitimate and he stole the election or that 2016 was not on the level and we still don’t know what happened. Jimmy Carter, Trump lost and was put in office by the Russians. All the Russian collusion nonsense. Yeah sure Hillary conceded. Then went to task to undermine the sitting President. I didn’t even vote for trump in either election but you have to be willfully ignorant or dishonest to make the claim Hillary did the right thing.

I'll be honest, I don't have an option on the cultural war right now. I believe in people's right to live how they want to live and I believe in people's right to say what they want to say. Which side I end up on won't be decided until one side is declared the winner and at that point I will adamantly be supporting the losing side. What's funny is how both sides have been so indoctrinated that neither can see they are wrong. They've completely lost all objectivity.

You should get andrew tate on the show. I'm sure I'm not the first one to say it, but I really want to see someone objectively challenge his views and believes, because I think a lot of it is true, but I also think he's missing a lot, and not all the things he says checks out. Sometimes he gives an example where the cause effect relationship is false, even though it seems like it's true.

Tim is so jacked up I have to play him at a slower speed to not get pissed off…even if I don’t disagree. There’s just way too much fast talking and a lack of definition. No matter which direction you look, you find that N. S. Korean parable. Including the opinions here. . And truth. Wasn’t there an episode not long ago with a scientist proving the truth is we’re all in a simulation? Honestly Tim is young. Wisdom takes more time. People are using terms like “a woke mind virus” as more fuel for separating the us vs them that’s truly infected America. No one can even define that word. It’s defined by whatever you disagree with…”those” woke people. They all think this, or that all think that. Or all people who think must be “woke,” or all people who don’t agree must be “woke.”

The 'two sides to every story' approach can be taken too far. eg: The BBC are dedicated journalists and they dutifully report the Ukrainian & Russian claims about the war as if they're equally believable. Fact: 400 dead people lying around in Bucha after the RuZZians retreat. RuZZia: "The Ukrainian Nazis did it to make us look bad." Uh, no. My point: everyone has the right to opinion but we should not give equal weight to fools and liars as we do to wise and honest people.

This discussion is Bluring the lines between the term Woke and arguments about the Trans reality, and Anti-Science. Everything they are discussing has more to do with debates around the Trans reality. But sadly they keep lightly aluding to people of color and skin color as if this has anything to do with the original intentions of the term Woke (A civil rights and social justice term, not a movement. So this episode was disappointing because they aren't really speaking to anything specific at all. And none of the guests arguments were supported by any researched facts, history, or even his book. He was just making up anecdotal claims and comparisons about the Totalitarian Boogie Man that is The Woke Movement. I followed him until he started freestyling his thoughts. I'm used to the guests on this show being experts that are "Careful" with their words motivated by adhering to the body of knowledge they are an expert in. Experts that have enough humility to stop speaking once they have already admitted they do not know the opinions of the people they are speaking about. This dude went on a wild speculative tangent about a woke persons point of view, after stating he doesn’t know anything about it. Basically making it clear that everything he said after that was motivated by his ignorant biased opinion. And sadly that was what most of this interview was about. Two white men confidently speaking on the motivations of the people of the woke movement, after repeatedly stating they aren't informed on that very subject. And the only reason I specified "2 white men" is because that is what white men habitually do in public, state they don't know the facts of something regarding people of color, but still attempt to interperate their perspectives based on their biased opinions making themselves seem more prejudiced and biggited than they actually are (I am not implying that is what Tom was doing, but he shur didn't do much to challenge this dudes statements). If you have enough awareness to say you don’t know the opinions, or perspectives of people who identify with the Woke point of view, just don’t speak on that topic. So you don’t make yourself appear biased. Sheeesh! All we can take away from this episode is the Woke Mind Virus is Dangerous. But that hypothesis wasn’t supported by ANY intelligent arguments nor supported with facts. At least Tom shared some books I can read. 😂😅 That are loosley related to some of the themes in the video. This is definitely not the impact theory I'm used to. Tom was strategic not to just universally agree with ALL of the dudes verbal diarrhea, but damn this guy was just making shit up. He definitely did not come prepared.

This guy must NOT be paying attention....people are getting killed on the Right many times over for saying or even believing what they believe. I get that this person is most likely relying on the wrong data or info given to him though, so he only has so much data at his disposal to decipher. But his hypothesis becomes very very flawed and comes to the wrong conclusions when he doesn't seek out all angles. And teachers are not only bringing 'ideas and philosophy' for awareness...they're forcing people to believe it, and hurting dissenters by the way of failing grades, kicking them out of class, expulsion, public ridicule....this man is either has very limited resources on what he's pulling from or he's being painfully deliberate in his approach....
