I try to avoid it now because of its ties to occult stuff, but its hard to do that when youre surrounded by family, friends and others who still play with it. For me now, I just laugh at it, things on facebook that say "This is what can youd be based on your birthsign" I see that here and again but I don't care about it too much. I do try and explain why they arent something to put faith in but many times that falls on deaf ears. I know someones going to say that I should leave or find other friends, but its not easy when I am in the living situation I am in and literally depend on these people for food, shelter and especially to goto church. Just some stuff that I wanted to say. I may be wrong in my approach but I dont rely on my own understanding. I just trust in God and keep my mind on him. I was raised to know astrology was a sin, but I fell into a new age church that promoted Jesus Christ as an astrologer (with the 12 apostles representing the heavenly bodies). The more I looked into birth charts, the more truth I started finding in them. Anything from my personality, health issues, and even my husband/child’s descriptions! Things I WAS NOT even looking for would pop up, and I felt like it was God’s way of answering lifelong questions I always had about myself! Some of the findings gave me peace and strengthened my faith in God/resistance to sin. Is it really that astrology is “wrong,” or is it that God doesn’t want us to solely rely on the stars, but on Him overall? The astrology we do today has been corrupted in so many ways and it's no surprise that there's a lot of contradiction and confusion. Look, think of this... How did the three wise men know about Jesus birth? Was it not through their astrology knowledge? Say it's was not through astrology and you will destroy Christianity. The way we paint ancient knowledge as bad because of the corrupted ones we experienced is just so wrong. That's the reason why we still live with a very low level of consciousness.
